maybe since i can barely walk today and had to call out of work i will be forced to spend my time doing my readings for class and playing some of my backlogged games… <- (They are going to do nothing but lay in bed and think about hurting)

what’s the scientific term for that huge mood crash that happens after a really fun thing? when i was in theatre we called it post-show depression and this kinda feels like a similar thing but it’s anime con, not theatre.

last day of work at my current job and i instinctively introduced myself to the new hire as Wren despite that NOT being my legal name that i use at work. and she was reading my nametag aloud as i said it too. and i KNOW i had a very visible reaction to it like ohhh shit i said the wrong name 😭

i want to draw regularly again i think, so i need to find time to do that. but also i think that maybe i need some obsession to possess me with the same death grip that danganronpa had on me in high school.

guy who is already starting to feel negative effects from the amount of caffeine she has consumed today despite knowing full well that they are incredibly sensitive to it: “i should buy myself a mountain dew, i think that would make me feel better actually”

so I officially survived my first week of grad school lol

I may be a little less active with posts and replies during the semester since it takes a lot of my focus and I’m… very easily distracted when I allow myself to be (the unfortunate thing about online classes is that they exist in the same little box as the tumblr dashboard and the video games)

– But!! I will still be replying/posting/talking about games when I can!

It’s sinking in that I’m actually a grad student now. I started my master’s program yeaterday. This is a real thing that is actually happening to me now and not “later” or “someday, maybe.”
