I wanted to draw one of those “six characters” fanarts, and I finally got around to finishing this hahaha

  • Talia Petrov is actually such a badass; she was confronting the Russian military about her brothers “death,“ all while she was recovering from CANCER, and he was the last family she had left. Homegirl was grieving and physically weak, and yet she bothered the Russian military so much they threw her in jail. She’s so underrated rip. Queen behavior.
  • …and I also needed to practice drawing animals, hence my cheating and counting my dog as a character twice. He is a…character, after all.
  • This marks the first time I have properly drawn my girl Meera, since I kept abandoning other drawings with her rip but I love her so much
  • I needed to redraw Norman in black and white bc he looked baaaaad in color. I keep wondering if I should delete the colored fanart of him.
  • And Leroux is…Leroux. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I know he’s a bad guy. I just think he’s an interesting character.

IN PSYCHO WHEN NORMAN IS TALKING TO MARION IN THE PARLOUR AND TALKS ABOUT THE WAY HIS MOTHER’S LOVER DIED HE SAYS:

“And the way he died… I suppose it’s nothing to talk about while you’re eating”.

AND IT’S NOT JUST BECAUSE OF HOW GRUESOME IT WAS. IT WAS BECAUSE HE POISONED THEIR FOOD. HE POISONED THEM AND THAT’S THE DOUBLE MEANING. Because she’s eating.

the line itself is phenomenal. the way Hitchcock uses angles to make the scene feel so ominous and sinister. THE WAY TONY DELIVERS THE LINE LIKE ITS AN INSIDE JOKE BETWEEN NORMAN AND HIMSELF.
