reading: I’ve been (slowly) making my way through Three Castles Burning by Donal Fallon, which is a history of Dublin told through the architecture of twelve of its streets. That’s a very Ash book so it’s no surprise I’m reading it lol, I just wish I dedicated a little more time to it rip
last series: hmmmm… I don’t read many series tbh, but I am a collector of Bill Bryson books and while his books are all standalone and don’t technically constitute a series per se, I do kinda consider them one in my head. So I’ll say either those or the BBC Merlin collectible books.
last film: Does the new season of Bake Off count? To be so honest it was probably Wake Up Dead Man, I’ve seen it like five times since it came out in November and I’m still not close to normal about it
last song: HAHAA according to my spotify it was I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers. I have exceptional taste.
sweet or salty: salty!! all the way. most sweet stuff is not for me.
coffee or tea: tea! easily. coffee makes my stomach hurt and my heart go very fast. spearmint tea with a little honey, on the other hand, is the greatest drink on the face of the earth.
working on: a silly little story about a kingdom and a lonely traveler. It has good vibes, I hope

oops. not to like… make someone else’s story about me but a close friend’s younger sister was getting her top college decision back tonight and I sent her a good luck text for moral support but turns out I accidentally sent it like one minute after she received the decision and found out she’d been rejected. poor timing, ash! ugh.
I happened to be on youtube at the exact moment the new dan and phil video was uploaded so I was tHE 10TH VIEW ON IT EVER. by the time Id finished watching it there were already 20,000 views. but I was number 10. yippee!!

Let this serve as a reminder to myself that there is never a perfect time. You will never feel ready for Big Things like applying to your next degree or graduating or getting a job or watching your friends move in their own directions while you move in yours. You will not feel smart enough or prepared enough and it will be hard but you do have to do it. It will be a different path because it is your own and what a blessing.
