What an amazing company

I bought a pair of mini Ugg boots from The Vault U.K. as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The boots were a lot cheaper than everywhere else I’d looked, and they took a bit long than expected to arrive, but they were coming all the from Australia. Unfortunately, after wearing the boots for the first time the stitching came away from the side on one of them so I had to email the Vault UK to ask for help. They replied straight away and contacted Ugg for us as they come with a 1 year warranty. After about 10 days I contacted them again to ask for an update and they offered us a replacement pair of boots even before Ugg had replied. They’ve been amazing. Their customer service is well deserving of the 5 star review that I’ve given them. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from The Vault U.K. again

Changing delivery dates

I placed my order on the website straight forward enough. My complaint’s really about the length of time it took for delivery. I was given 3 different dates then as each one came and went I wasn’t told they had changed, I had to keep going back to the website to look at the tracking. I wouldn’t have minded, but I think it’s only manners to let people know not to wait in for a large delivery.

I am still waiting on the items I…

I am still waiting on the items I bought from this company. They have missed my original delivery date and a 2nd date I was given. Even contacting their CEO hasn’t resulted in resolving the issue. I’m a disabled customer and I’ve already changed 1 hospital appointment to accommodate this company. I have a chemo session to tomorrow and I’m not missing that for more broken promises. At the moment I’m just short of £600 out of pocket and they don’t seem to care. I don’t have the strength to go through this. I’m not well enough for this. I’m asking for my money back. I’m sure that will be another problem. I’d honestly have given this company no stars if I could have done so. I read the reviews after i’d bought my doors, and thought they were probably exaggerated. They are NOT. Don’t give these cowboys your hard earned money cos you probably won’t get the items you’ve paid for and you’ll give yourself a lot of stress and worry fighting to get your money back.

If you need a mattress quickly, don’t buy it here. They don’t deliver in the timescale their website says they do.

I bought a 2nd mattress from this company, so a returning customer who gave a 5 star review, but the customer service that I have received this time has been nothing short of appalling. The main reason for buying this mattress was their delivery times. Their website clearly states 1-3 days delivery, and I put my faith in that. I had a family emergency and I had to bring a severely disabled family member to live with me. I needed that mattress as a matter of urgency. I bought it 5 days ago and the 1st delivery date I am being offered is in 10 days time, so that will be 15 days from ordering it. I have contacted their customer service and pleaded for help to get the mattress delivered earlier, and they’ve been no help at all. I have told them that I am refusing delivery and I’ve now asked for a refund because I will now have to find another mattress that can be delivered in the next few days. I feel severely let down by this company. I’m waiting on a very close family member dying and I’m trying to stop the other one from going into care. They could have stepped up and helped me, they chose not to. Let’s see how quick they are to refund my money.

We’ve now updated our website to reflect these temporary extended timeframes so expectations are clearer for all customers. That said, we absolutely recognise that there have been a few exceptions where delivery has taken longer than even these extended estimates, and we’re working closely with our carriers to get things moving faster again.

Don't waste your time ordering from this Company. Keep your money !

Placed an order 11 days ago and have had no response from this company since. I've emailed twice and had no response. Judging from another review on this site this company takes your money and doesn't give you the goods you've paid for. Hopefully I'll get some kind of response from them when they read this poor review.

I recently opened an account with Very. At first i was given a decent credit limit then overnight it was reduced as apparently i have financial difficulties, which is news to me. I also didn’t get the 20% new account discount that i was promised. I have found it very difficult to contact Very. It’s either a chat bot which is of no use or you are asked to phone. I simply don’t have the time to sit in a phone queue waiting for help. In this day and age there should be some form of live chat for customers to get help. All of this has put me off staying with Very.

A true 5 star service

If you are looking for paint, look no further than the Paint Shed. I placed my order with them as we were trying to redecorate our Dad’s house while he was in hospital after having a stroke. I placed the order on the Monday and the guy from the Paint Shed hand delivered the paint the very next morning. It was very impressive and really appreciated under the circumstances. I’d have no hesitation in using them again.

Very good credit card if you are…

Very good credit card if you are looking to build your credit and you pay the balance in full. Its got a very high APR, so don’t use if if you can’t pay in full each month. There are other credit building cards with lower interest rates.

Very easy website to use and the prices are excellent. I bought a 1 trip policy and it was great there was an incentive to boost your cash pot.Let’s hope my account actually receives the money.

Easy website to navigate and very quick delivery times.

Was searching for a ruff and tumble drying coat on their website, but they never had what i was looking for. I was directed to Hills & Hounds as a supplier and bingo they had what i was looking for. I found ordering very easy and their delivery was free and the goods arrived very quickly. I’d definitely order from them again.

Really great help and support received at Carpetright

I visited the Edinburgh Straiton store 04/09/2023 and the pleasure of dealing with Thomas. He worked out a price for me and even honoured a discount that I’d been given as a quote from one of their other stores that I apparently shouldn’t have got. I really appreciated that because that price was what I had budgeted for. The whole process was seamless and I felt like a valued customer. I’ve even been given a delivery/fitting date. I got that before I even left the store. A well deserved 5 star review for Thomas at Carpetright. A little side moan is the they’ve spelt my surname wrong, but I can overlook that.

Paid for collection of this parcel

Paid for collection of this parcel. Took it to the shop as advertised on your website and the shopkeeper refused to take it saying they don’t have storage for boxes the size of mine. You took my money and I wasn’t able to get my parcel delivered. Very bad service.

Highly recommended

This is my 2nd order of wooden faux blinds from Unbeatable blinds. The order process is very easy and the blinds arrived quite quickly. Great prices and I found them a lot cheaper than other companies.

Great savings

Purchased Under Armour quarter zip tops priced at £35 each. Bought 4 and got them for £20 each which was a fantastic saving. Really pleased with my purchase. Would recommend watching as they’ve got a lot of great buys.

A must for quality clothing

Very easy to use website. Great clothes at really reasonable prices and great quality. I even managed to get a 20% discount as a first time online purchaser. The dress I bought arrived really quickly and it’s beautiful. I bought it for a winter wedding.

Amazon has gone downhill

I am so sick of the poor customer service that you get from Amazon. All they care about it taking your money. They’re not interested in providing a decent service anymore. They’re all good and well if everything is going ok, but if you’re needing help with a missing order or a refund, forget it. You end up trying to communicate with someone in India that doesn’t speak very good English. Who are they answerable to ? No-one it seems. I’m waiting on a refund for goods that arrived damaged. Hermes picked the return up. I’ve got the receipt for it, and it’s even showing on my account as returned, but I’ve not had my money back. I’ve spent hours trying to talk to someone about it, but you just get continually fobbed of. I’m now going to The Financial Ombudsman for help. I’ve given them 1 star, but it would have been a zero if I could have given them it.

New to Zilch

I found this a great way to budget my Xmas shopping. The only problem that I encountered was getting the Zilch card to go through Apple Pay at the store end. I didn’t use the whole amount of credit that I’d been given. I’d just be very careful about what you are spending. Just make sure that you can afford the repayments and don’t get too carried away.

An honest review of shipping goods since Brexit

!!!!!!!!! UPDATE !!!!!!!

I am putting an update on this review because yet again.my parcel was not delivered within the 3 days that Parcel Force advertise. I’m fact, my parcel didn’t even arrive in the destination country within 3 days. It was guaranteed to be delivered by 02/12/21, and I’m writing on 05/12/21, and the parcel still hasn’t been delivered. What a let down, and I’ve made a formal complaint this time. Don’t waste your money picking a company like Parcel Force because you think they’re a reputable company that you can trust with your goods. Try the cheaper courier company’s because you get the sane service for a lot less money.

This is the 2nd time that I have used Parcel Force international to courier a 15K box to The Netherlands. I find the system quite difficult to navigate though, and this has definitely got worse since Brexit. The 1st box that I sent was guaranteed delivery in 3 days, but it didn’t arrive for almost 2 weeks. You are definitely the most expensive courier delivering goods to Europe. There’s no doubt about it, and you’re prices have increased since we left Europe. It used to be exciting sending a big box of home comforts to my family, but the new system takes the pleasure out of doing this. It’s actually very stressful. This new box is also guaranteed delivery in 3 days, but I’m yet to see if you meet that deadline. The good thing about using Parcel Force is getting to ship a good range of items that other couriers won’t take. The customer service is also guaranteed to be good, so I know that I’d get help if my box went missing. The worst thing about using them is the price. I have to ship things to my family a lot less than I used to, which is sad.
