Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service – Albert Heijn, Overpoortstraat 49/A, 9000, (Ghent), Belgium

I’ve been a regular customer, but after today, I’m done. The elderly cashier is consistently rude with other costumers, and today she treated me like a criminal, demanding to check my bag without reason and yelling at me in front of others. When I asked her to call a manager so I could report this, she refused.

In the Netherlands, Albert Heijn is great — respectful staff and good service. But in Belgium, especially at this location, the management is clearly lacking. I’ll never return.
