Do not pay them a penny
We had to pre pay for our steam inspection. No worries. We had to pay for a separate engineer to come and strip the boiler before BES arrived. They phoned us at 8.30 am on the day to cancel the appointment. The engineer had already stripped the boiler.
We were offered a date a month later. We would have to re-book the service engineer separately. At our cost again. I do not trust that this company will turn up in the future so I have been asking for my money back for 10 weeks.
Only one pathetic email from them saying they will be in touch. That was 3 weeks ago.
I honestly don't know how any company can operate like this.

Really not sure how this useless company are in business. Not turning up. Dis_interest from the lady on the phone. Pretending they have tried to get in touch for 2 years !! Yeah right. Then saying they are coming when we dont have an appointment. Recommend do not use.

they cancelled 3 appointments on the day!! on 2 occasions i called back to re arrange and was on position 1 for 2 hours 10 minutes!!! they leave the answer machine on and go home!!!! a horrible women says '' we will be with you shortly''!!!this is their shortly, you phone them and they use the f word !!!

In addition to the Invoice for the site visit dated 13/12/24 for £600.00 we also received an invoice dated 07/11/2024 for £219.38 stating we had added to plant schedule.
We had not had a contract with them for 6 month!!
They are now threatening extra cost and legal action if we do not pay these invoices for works that were not requested/authorised/discussed.
Please avoid at all costs

Booking department is a mess
Booking department is a mess. As a medium size company, operating from eight premises, despite accurate locations of our equipment they are unable to actually book anything with us to arrange inspection of our equipment. The last time, it took them over 2 months of toing and froing via call, text and email to finally get someone out to inspect the equipment. Thankfully, the engineer(s) that attended were good people and nice to deal with. 6 months on, it has been a week and still not got our routine inspections booked. The booking department and procedure is a shambles and if it wasn't for our insurers forcing our hands to use this company, they wouldn't have been given a second chance. Previously, we had the cracked record about engineers are only allocated 2 hours per site, despite our constant reminders to them this isn't enough time and they need to allocate an engineer for the day to us, we just get ignored. Phone conversations with them get ignored and not followed up. E-mails don't actually get answered properly. Avoid like the plaque, there are plenty of inspection companies out there and we would recommend you use someone else.

Disgusting service
I live alone & have cancer, also recently diagnosed with heart problem,(avoid stress & no lifting) After threats to enter my house I had rearrange medical appointments to suit them. I waited for five & a half hours & no one turned up. Second appointment I phoned & told them I was ill but they still arrived at my door asking to be in, I told them to rearrange & give a precise time.Today after rearranging another medical app, I got up at 6am to move furniture, beds etc & got a call at 8.45 saying their engineer had phoned in sick & could'nt make as he wasn't feeling very well & could I make another appointment for for next week. I phoned my housing association & they told me one of his children was unwell. I cannot keep lifting & moving my furniture or wait around all day for these people anymore I find this service disgusting & unacceptable, who do they think they are ?
