Dyson V15 Absolute worked only 2 Years
We bought a Dyson V15 Absolute about 2.5 years ago for around 600 euros directly from the manufacturer. About three months ago, the vacuum cleaner began to switch off repeatedly right after being turned on. After doing some research, I found out that this is a common issue with this model series, where three transistors on the motor control board need to be replaced.
Support dismissed my request with the remark, “It must be the battery.”
So I ordered a new motor from a well-known Chinese platform without replacing the battery and now it works.
Never again, Dyson!

They didn’t solve my issue at all
They didn’t solve my issue at all. I bought a V10 it was broken after 1,5 years and then new engine is not working after a year. There is no user fault in that. We don’t even use it for our whole house. It was only for stairs and few rugs. They only suggest me to pay for another engine! I regret spending 450 euros for a Dyson already. Also don’t trust that new engine will work more than 1,5 years.

Good product but terrible packaging. It looks fancy but not useful for everyday use. Taking the product out to use and put it back feels like a chore.

It was good I have a new hot and cold because the other was broken but when I had a problem with DHL and I tried to called I had to wait 50 minutes and den it was saying 40 minutes and den again 50 den I tried in WhatsApp and it didn’t not work I am not so happy about that.
I had a problem with the package I tried to pick it up the hole last week and it was not in the post offices and I wanted to ask about it .

We have been Dyson customers for a while (Vacuum Cleaner, Hair Dryer and more) and I recently bought the lightcycle.
First time a product didn't work well. However, since then the customer service and help or rather lack of it has been eye opening and extremely disappointing. The Chat simply stoppped replying and I needed to start over, hotline never available with a waiting time of under 60min in 10 attempts - they don't want to talk to you. Contacted the store in Cologne to faciliate a return - could not help either.
I returned the product and now waiting for my money and again nobody answering or communicating. We will not purchase another Dyson product in the foreseeable future.
Over 84 days without a refund
BEFORE BUYING FROM DYSON… DID YOU KNOW THAT:
I am giving one star only because zero is not an option. My experience with Dyson has been a bureaucratic nightmare lasting nearly three months.
THE FACTS:
On 14/11/25, I purchased a V15 Detect (€521.55). Following the instructions from their CALL CENTER, I refused the package upon delivery on 19/11, returning the product via DHL.
From that moment on: total silence.
THE ASSISTANCE ORDEAL:
• 84 days of total waiting time.
• 6 open support cases with reference numbers, none of which were ever resolved.
• Dozens of standard emails and surreal responses: they even emailed me to ask what my email address was (absurd!).
• Contradictory communications: on the same day, they wrote to tell me the refund was being processed and then, 4 minutes later, that I had to wait for "warehouse verifications."
• Two formal legal notices (PEC) and a formal notice of default pursuant to Art. 1219 of the Italian Civil Code.
• Over 30 calls to the call center and dozens of messages on Messenger and WhatsApp.
• Credit note still missing
Despite the goods having returned to their warehouse months ago, Dyson unduly withheld my money.
THE EPILOGUE: I only received the refund yesterday, 06/02/2026, and ONLY thanks to PayPal's intervention after escalating the dispute to a PAYPAL CLAIM (be warned: this process is not quick either).
Had I paid by bank transfer or credit card, I would likely still be in the hands of lawyers today.
CONCLUSION: Embarrassing customer service, inefficient administrative management, and a TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT for the customer. If you buy, make sure to use PayPal, because Dyson support will not help you.
P.S. They only feigned interest "for appearances" after I posted comments under their Facebook and Instagram social channels.
A question for the Dyson "marketing geniuses": does it make sense to position yourselves as a luxury brand with inflated prices, focusing on aggressive marketing and massive sales, if you do so at the expense of reliability and customer loyalty? Remember: a betrayed customer is a blow to your image that no advertising campaign can ever repair. You have failed across the board.

I have been waiting to process a return for over a month
I have been waiting to process a return since mid December. I have ordered the same item twice both times came broken, partly assembled, and either missing parts or broken parts.they were used and there was no quality control made before it was sent back. I still need the stand, I am afraid to buy something that is broken and I will not get my money back frankly, I never had such a terrible experience. I would have kept you or not if you had been in working order, but they were not twice it happened but one of them I have not received my money back. I have been in chat four times with no outcome every time until you have patience, I think it’s AI talking to me is pure nonsense. Too bad because the company has good technology, but this customer service stinks.
