Filthy seat!!...No power to charge phone....no water or lights in the toilet.... Very disappointed and definitely will not use this company again
Almost non-existent customer service
Almost non-existent customer service. I was not notified the bus would be unbranded, so I missed it even though I got a the stop 30 minutes early. I had to buy last minute train tickets from London to Leeds. Neither the online chat or email services were any help, and worse still, the answers I got by email were generic and showed the person did not even bother reading my messages and did not know what the problem was. I sent a complaint and never got a reply.

Be aware of Flix Bus
We were able to get to the airport, but when we returned from our holiday to Bristol Airport the Flix bus for our return to Swansea had been cancelled and the bus before it. They were unable to accommodate us on the next bus leaving us and others stranded.
This was very distressing for my family with my severe autistic grandson. We all had to find another type of transport home.
Would never recommend them. Unable to get any refund or speak to anybody in charge as they are based in Germany. Despite emails to the company we have had no replies from them. Unprofessional service.

My wife and I travelled from Preston to London with FlixBus for the first time. At Preston, we showed our tickets to the driver and were directed to hand our luggage to the conductor. When asked, we simply said “London,” as we were unfamiliar with the different stops. The conductor then spoke with the driver in another language and loaded our bags. Since the driver had already checked our tickets, we assumed everything had been communicated correctly. No one asked for our exact stop or explained any luggage unloading process.
When we arrived at Finchley Road (our ticketed stop) and asked for our luggage, the conductor became verbally aggressive, raised his voice at us in front of other passengers, and refused to retrieve our bags, saying they had been placed in the compartment for London Victoria passengers. As first-time travellers, we relied entirely on staff to load and organise the luggage correctly, so this was not our mistake.
Because of this, we were forced to travel to London Victoria to collect our bags and then pay for an Uber back to Finchley Road, causing us extra expense, delay, and stress.
The behaviour was rude, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. Instead of helping us, we were blamed and shouted at.
Customer service and basic courtesy were seriously lacking. Because of this experience, we will not be travelling with FlixBus again. I hope management reviews staff training and conduct so other passengers do not go through the same situation

Shady promotions - Flixbus in Australia
Flixbus in Australia is engaged in a serious fraudulent campaign. They keep promotional prices for tickets on Sydney Melbourne routes for 10AUD. After booking when the date of travel is near, they are coming up with excuses and so big schedule changes and asking customers to cancel their tickets. The schedule of travel is changed such that the customer will end up in destination in the night and will have problems forcing them to cancel their tickets. Fraudulent company, don't use them in Australia.

A big fat sweaty co-driver sat next to me, who didn't even pay for a seat and crushed me into the window and sat on me because he was so big. He was sweating on me and I couldn't even breathe.
I asked for a new seat but I was told to suffer when i contacted the company and asked if I could be designated a new seat

Wow, nope.
Wow. They cancelled the bus 30 mins before departure, which is insane. Do it at least a couple hours before so people haven't already arrived waiting. Next one isn't for 4 hours which is insane to wait in the cold. They offer refund for amount paid or voucher for amount paid, which is ridiculous - it should be a voucher for any trip. Doesn't help that I actually changed my ticket so paid twice technically, which fine they don't have to honour that but the sole reason I go with flix is for the convenience of how easy it is to change a ticket. I've taken quite a few journeys with them now, but this experience and my last trip where the driver was rude to a young boy by himself but pandered to some absolute cretin chavs shouting at me on the back of the bus and screaming loudly at each other playing music not in their assigned seats, not a great last couple experiences. ONLY book with them if your travel can be slow paced and when national express is too expensive.
Toilet is a luxury - not a basic service
You will randomly travel without any access to the toilet or restroom stops for 10 hours.

I had a terrible experience with this company 2 years ago and haven’t traveled with them since. I decided to give them another shot and I have been reminded of exactly why I don’t.
My coach was booked for 11:35am and I received a text message 15 minutes before the coach was due saying the coach had been cancelled. There is a link in the text to either book onto another coach or get a refund. I originally chose to book another, the next available one wasn’t for another 3 hours and I was already at the stop. I changed my mind and decided I wanted a refund, and a refund for my return ticket too as I did not want to travel with them at all. And exactly what happened to the last time they have refused to refund my tickets for a coach that they cancelled.
This company is a scam and pull many tricks to keep your money, I was sent to refund request forms that don’t work.
Please do not travel with FlixBus, terrible customer service and customer care.

Terrible customer service
My daughter forgot her phone in the pocket of the seat in front of hers (3C). It was impossible to contact the company. No one answered, there's no way to get in touch. She had it located for 24 hours, travelling back to Praga, and it was still in the same spot until the battery died. She never received any response. The AI chat doesn't respond either. I am writing this review for her because she is abroad without a phone.

As a Canberra passengers we should boycot this service. They get the bookings and cancel the whole bus just hours before the depature. Delaying more than hours , buses not turnup ontime. Because of this service Murray reduced their very convenient and trusted service. We should kicked out this Flixbus from Canberra. Urging to Line up for that.
What I Like and Don't Like.
I've had 3 trips on FlixBus.
First was on 2602 from New York Penn Station to New Brunswick Train Station, the second was on the same number but returning back to New York Penn Station from the aforementioned stop I got off at however it was on a different day, and the most recent being on #2610 from Boston South Station to New York Penn Station.
Pros:
The rides are pleasant and very omfortable.
Unlike Greyhound, I get to ride on Vanhool TX45 and other models.
It serves other areas Greyhound won't serve like New Brunswick, Henrico Government Office, etc.
Cons:
As much as I do enjoy a seat reservation, I feel like EVERY SEAT should NOT be charged. Specifically those further away from the front to all the way to the back of the buses should be free. If we don't pay for our seats, what are we going to do: ride on the roof or the bathroom? I feel like seatings at the front of the bus should be priced because you're asking for a quicker exit off of the bus which, if you think about it, can be considered as priority.
That's the only complaint I have. I like the reserved seatings but not every seat should have a price tag on it.
