I ordered with gear click in November spent over £3000 was told by James that I would receive my items before December then I received an email saying that I would not be getting it until end of December so I cancelled the order because I wanted the camera for my new grandchild who was due before then so I thought I would use a different company, Marie refund was issues on the 9th of November. I have still not received my money back and all they send is an automated email. . I have still not received my money back and all they send is an automated email response that they are doing everything their end. To get me my refund. My bank tells a different story that they filed a dispute with them and my bank has guaranteed me the money and has recommended me to leave a review on trustpilot for this company because they are a fraudulent company. Do not misled by the cheap prices for over three months now I have been over £3000 out-of-pocket and gear click attitude towards this is nothing short of disgusting. These people are fraudsters avoid at all costs. I would hate to see anybody else suffer the way that I have.

Ordered a lense on the 28th October - was eventually told it was out of stock after 4 emails asking about the order. I then cancelled the order on the 10th December and was told a refund was imminent. I waited and waited - emailed and called (no answer of course) chasing my refund of over £770 for several weeks
I was told via email the delay in the refund was down to bank transfer issues. That they had processed the refund their end, and their hands were tied.
No refund ever came - I had to contact my bank's fraud department to investigate - avoid this company - total scammers

Cancelled order no refund just informed by James refund started at their end after 4 weeks had to contact bank to start chargeback, paid by debit card. Avoid!!! Same as everyone else. Lens never arrived, constant changed shipping date due to reported problems. Finally asked for a refund which didn’t arrive. Luckily, I had paid by credit card, so was able to claim the money back by section 75.

I purchased a camera and lens in the middle of October. The estimated shipping date was changed multiple times and I never received tracking information. My items were never shipped. Crucial piece of information there, not the "delivery" date, the "shipping" date. It was never even shipped!
I had to cancel the order due to the constant shipping date changes and was told the refund had been processed and would take 12 business days to arrive back to me. Nearly a month after the refund was "processed" and still no refund has arrived in my bank account. When I asked Gearclix what can they do once these "few more days" are over, they just repeated the "wait a few more days" statemant. I also asked if they can show me verifiable refund transaction information, and then they stopped talking to me. I am now having to pursue a chargeback through my bank.
A shocking experience from an appalling company. I hope I never come across this company again. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I ordered 3 separate items from GearClix starting in August 2025 I cancelled the first order because delivery dates kept slipping - refund received. Thought I would give them another go as I was refunded, 9 weeks in cancelled again delivery dates and excuses not plausible and often regurgitated. Cancelled both orders waiting for a refund cheap prices mean nothing if you don't receive your goods. Sourced from Norwich Cameras only slightly more expensive at least I have a delivery date and a DPD Tracker - will update once good received

The price of the Sony 400-800 lens looks too good to be true, which sadly turned out to be the case. After ordering and paying, it soon became clear that could not source the lens, which led to various excuses and a 'cashback' compensation offer if I kept waiting. I opted to cancel the order and get a refund, which was promised but not delivered after several weeks. When communication dried up I contacted my bank and asked then to initiate a chargeback, which they sorted brilliantly in a matter of hours. They behaviour was questionable throughout, bordering on duplicitous. I wouldn't be surprised if GearClix's business model is flawed in a few areas.

Avoid this company. Broken promises, no deliveries, no refunds just BS excuses. There are far more honest companies out there. E-Infinity and Cotswold are more reliable.
I purchased a camera on November 12th
I purchased a camera on November 12th. After two weeks, I inquired about the status of the camera I had bought. James blamed FedEx for the delay. I was given a new delivery date and offered a 2% discount if it didn't arrive on time. It did not arrive.
On December 8th, I canceled the order. James assures me that the refund is already in progress. Eight days later, James is still assuring me it will take "a few more days."
The company, owned by an Indian individual living in Canada (according to Company House records), collects orders and holds the money in an interest-bearing account. It's a waste of time and stress.

They keep promising a delivery date every week, but nothing has arrived. So, I decided to cancel my order on November 26, 2025, and even my refund has been pending on their end for more than two weeks now, with no update on when they are going to refund my money. I don't know how they run their business like this. Just be careful if you don't want to get frustrated.
