Your staff member came to our house, and did not address the issue!!, he left very quickly saying he would put in a report and we would hear from you. Almost three weeks have passed and the only contact we have had from you is this mail asking us to rate our experience!!!
We had a water leak in the loft from one of the central heating pipe which was dipping though the ceiling and down the walls in the bedroom, we had one plumber came out on the first day and he replaced one of the fitting which it looked like it stopped the leak,
The next day when we got up we find the water dipping though the ceiling again the second plumber came out and found a second fitting was leaking, he replaced the joint which stopped the leaking.
This would have been a five star, but unfortunately I had to wait a week for an engineer to come out and assess the situation, mine would probably have been down as non-urgent as it was not known if it was an electrical fault with the plug or my washing machine itself as it had flooded, however I was without a washing machine for a week which anyone would realise it’s a long time to go without one, it was the washing machine so I had to then wait for a new one to be delivered,
But as for the service I got the engineer was very polite, confident and friendly enough.
I contacted Homeserve and received
an appointment the same day. The plumber was professional and friendly, he identified and fixed the problem and left the bathroom clean and tidy.
The Plumber arrived in the time slot requested , The work carried out was excellent . Well Done . Thank You !!!.
Initially I had called to make a claim and the automated line told me that the earliest appointment for an engineer would be in 2 days. As this was quite an urgent situation, I went through to speak to an Adviser who recognised the urgency of the situation and I had an engineer with me within 2 hours. The engineer was knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue quickly and then went above and beyond to ensure the issue was resolved fully.
On arrival, he got on with the job quickly. He explained and talked me though what he was doing & why.
I'm only sorry I don't know his name to put here as he was friendly & he let me watch exactly what he was doing. I wanted to understand the problem in case there was anything I could do to prevent this happening again.
