Money Taken, No Items, No Refund
I ordered three items in November. One item was cancelled and refunded, but the other two were marked as shipped and never arrived.
When I contacted the company, they claimed the items had been sent and asked me to provide proof that I didn’t receive them, along with a written statement. I later found an email from the tracking company showing the package was delivered to France, even though my delivery address is in the UK. I sent this as proof.
The company acknowledged the mistake, confirmed the items were not sent to my address, and said they would investigate and resend them. Since then, I have received neither the items nor a refund, and my emails are no longer answered.
Very disappointing experience. Poor communication and no resolution months later. I would not recommend buying from this company.
NEVER RECIEVED MY ORDER OR MY MONEY BACK
I've waited months for my goods and contacted the service desk for guidance. They promised to contact the delivery company and get back to me within 14 days, or I would get my money back. After that: silence.
Still no sight of the products I payed good money for. And only crickets when I demand a refund. Not even a reply! Absolutely disrespectful! Not a serious business what so ever.
New website letting them down
The new website has meant I've had to stop using Imparfaite which is such as a shame as I was a regular customer. They have removed the option to buy multiple items from sellers (international shipping is too high to order one item) - this is a huge detriment to the sellers who will lose so much custom. You also can no longer negotiate prices which always made the website fun. The functionality, images etc all seem much more clunky than they were. Really is a shame and hope they restore it to it's former glory as it was excellent.
Not worth the sales
Imparfaite allures you in by all the archive sales that they advertise. They have a lot of good stuff on their website and great sales. However, what they don’t tell you is your order may not get shipped or will take forever to ship until after you pay.
This to me is a deceptive form of sales and they should do better with communicating with their customers about the status of the shipment parcel.

Very unhelpful, very unprofessional. Jeans not as described
I was sold Levi's jeans that were described, and apparently "measured", as a W32" L36". The legs were a full 9 inches shorter as they had been adjusted. Having paid for delivery from France, I was then told I would have to bear the cost of the return. Very unhelpful, very unprofessional. I have since been offered a voucher that was apparently promised (no mention of it before this review!) No thank you.

No responsibility is taken for damaged goods
I order from imparfaite sometimes, and ususally from France.
This time I ordered from Finland. It was 175 euros jacket from archives. The delivery cost me 25 euros.
The jacket came in a thin plastic bag, all tore apart and taped.The inner wrap had holes as well. I was not happy for the delivery at all, cause 25 euros and i have expensive "bohemian" jacket exposed to durt dust and everything else on the away through the whole Europe. I immediately contacted imparfaite and they asked me if everything was ok with the jacket, no solutions offered. So I decided to return it, as it is not pleasant at all. I asked for the return and got the address. I had to explain that I want the reimbursmant for the delivery as well as the reason of return is not on my side. "As the commercial gesture" they said that I will be reimbursed the delivery as well.
Then it turned out to be that the return cost is also not there responsibility. But after one more email explaining that I don't feel right to pay 40 euros in the situation where there is a reson to return they agreed "as a comercial gesture exceptionally" give me the voucher for the purchace once I return it.
The situation is very unusual for me tbh. I order from different places and sometimes goods are damaged or broken and the company immediately offer the prepaid return slip or compensation depending on their policy.
So I think it would be nice to have this policy as well and not to make your costumers pay for your mistakes (that could happen sometimes)
For now I don't really think that I would like to have international delivery, as it was not good experience.
To sum up, I had to spend my time and energy, pushing and asking to have "gesture" to compensate delivery, that was badly organised.

My order wasn’t delivered to me
My order wasn’t delivered to me. I contacted Colissimo (the postal service Imparfaite uses) and they told me that my order was “returned to sender” either because there was insufficient postage, or because my address was incorrectly labeled.
I checked my Imparfaite profile incase I had listed my address incorrectly. But nope — my address is correct and clear. So this was sender error.
Accidents happen, and good customer service can more than make up for them. My single star review is because Imparfaite has not responded to my email of a week ago, nor my WhatsApp message. They do however seem to respond to Trust Pilot so now I’m trying here. I will gladly update my rating and review if I get some help! And ideally my order resent with the correct address and sufficient postage and delivered, or at very least a refund.
UPDATE: Updated from 1 star to 3 stars. Imparfaite eventually responded to one of my emails (a few days before responding to this review) and after I’d written to them AGAIN, pointing them to French law which dictates that delivery of a package is the responsibility of the sender. Imparfaite have now told me my package is lost and that it will take up to a 21 day investigation before they give me a refund. They can’t entirely be blamed for the lost package, as the postal service and sender share in this, but 21 days for a refund is an annoying policy. I’ll update my review if they find my package/issue the refund.

Lovely experience
I ordered a gorgeous wool and cashmere coat from Imparfaite. The seller, Patricia, shipped it the next day and it arrived in less than a week in the UK. The coat was in perfect condition and absolutely stunning 🤩. Also for the UK, if the total amount is below 135£, you don’t pay any import taxes or VAT.
Scam site?
I bought 2 Antik&Batik items here, not vintage.. It is not processing at all, so I emailed customer service, but they are not responding at all. If I had read the reviews here before ordering, I would not have ordered at all. I think I should report this to my bank.

290 euros lost?
I had one order made on the 19.09 from two brands - one said that it'll be processed in around 14 days and the second one it was a great and fast delivery experience. For the first one, it's now 25 days and no sign of shipment. For the second I returned the goods and after 10 days no sign of reimbursement.
I contacted the customer service 3 times - still no answer.
Will i have see the missing item and the money or only one of them? probably your business model is not working as it is? did i lost 300eu?
I purchased a jacket back in early July
I purchased a jacket back in the beginning of July and was given a tracking number on 3rd July - advising that the package has been approved for shipping - but nothing has arrived - I sent a request for clarification last week and received an automated confirmation receipt email, but no response beyond this - this is disappointing

Communication is really quite terrible. Made a purchase 4 weeks ago, I was told my item would be shipped in maximum 14 working days and still nothing? Not even a tracking number or proof of posting to me. They’re very happy to take your money and then not send the items it would seem. I keep having to email as their live chat (no one replies, I waited hours) is useless and they take days to reply and they tell you the same excuses and still don’t provide tracking?! Why! My trust has been broken I’m afraid. I would avoid ordering from here. I won’t be ordering from them again. Unfortunately if I don’t hear back soon I will have to get my bank involved.

Poor international shipping
I have recently made several French vintage clothing purchases that I love however, I am extremely disappointed with a purchase of Carel shoes that was never delivered to me. The tracking states that it has been delivered but, it is false. I have emailed Raphaelle at Imparfaite asking for a full refund but she has not replied yet. They should use a more reputable shipping service like UPS or DHL instead of the postal service. I believe my shoes were either lost, stolen or sent to the wrong address. I would not recommend shopping on Imparfaite if you live outside of France. Just browse but DO NOT BUY!

Seller is a liar
This was my first and definitely last order.
I ordered a red silk skirt.
The seller wrote in the item description that the skirt is lined. Moreover you could see the skirt with the lining on the photos.
Today I received the skirt. The lining was cut off! I think the seller wanted to make the shipping costs not so high so the item got smaller without the lining.
