Smarposti Lithuania stopped responding…

Phone calls ignored.
Facebook chat ignored

Parcel is in parcel locker, but no sms code provided. This noticed with multiple parcels. Got sms code 2 days later with efforts

Good luck you to reach them by phone even you are headquarter office from Finland.

Smarposti Lithuania stopped answering phone calls for their customers.

The courier did not call but marked that couldnt contact recipient

The courier did not call, did not arrive, but marked that the shipment could not be delivered because "it was impossible to contact the recipient."

When calling the customer service department, while waiting in line, the call was hung up 3 times. Finally, after getting through, they gave no clarification as to why contact was not made and why the shipment was not delivered. They gave no timeline for when they would clarify the reason, and they postponed the delivery until next week.

The worst parcel delivery company in Lithuania.

SmartPost consistently suffers from…

SmartPost consistently suffers from serious operational issues. Parcels are frequently delayed, get stuck in transit, are delivered late, and customers receive no proper notifications. In some cases, shipments are even redirected to completely different parcel terminals without any prior notice. These mistakes repeat themselves constantly.

The biggest problem is customer service. Calling +370 700 55009 provides no assistance at all: the staff are unqualified, unable to give clear information, do not resolve issues, and show neither knowledge nor motivation. Despite repeated complaints, the situation does not improve — in fact, it continues to get worse.

Service quality is not improving; it is steadily declining. For these reasons, SmartPost can be considered one of the worst delivery services in Lithuania. If you need reliable and responsible parcel handling, I strongly advise avoiding this company.

Fix the goddamn communication with DHL

I've never had to deal with courier services that.

I've been struggling to ship an item from Germany for multiple times via DHL. Once the parcel reached Lithuania, I wasn't notified in any way (seller sent the tracking code only when the parcel was coming back to Germany). Neither Itella, nor DHL didn't notify me about the incoming parcel – which had all the data correct, including my phone number.

Ultimately I've lost €300 because of bad seller communication + Itella's inability to care about their clients.

The box came totally ribbed open and 1 item was missing. The courier was so rude, after 5 times pointing this out, no answer, finally he started pointing fingers and was so unfriendly and rude. The customer service on the phone said, "we do not have special package treatment in our terminal". Really, so delivering packages in one piece and making sure they arrive safely, you are not responsible? They did not even care to tape the box. It came totally open and broken. Wow! Next-level service.

Desastrous Delivery Service

I had a deeply frustrating experience with Itella delivery. My mother sent me a parcel of high emotional value, and it has been stuck in their logistics centers for over two weeks. Despite the correct address and a 24/7 reception ready to receive parcels, Itella keeps shuffling the package between Vilnius and Kaunas without delivering it. I have called five times, receiving only empty promises of callbacks and updates that never come true. Their incompetence in handling a simple delivery is frustrating, leaving me feeling helpless and angry. Avoid this company.

Disaster

Disaster.
A delivery company that is unable to deliver simple small packages and does not even leave notifications
Even though there is a sufficiently large, well-labeled mailbox. Already had massive difficulties with 2 shipments, one of which was even returned to the sender by Itelli, a small book. They weren't able to at least put it in the mailbox.

Never called

Waited for a delivery, they didn’t even try to deliver. Never called, they had my address. Funny thing was I actually received food delivery 5mins before i got a failed delivery notification. Even Wolt are a better logistics company with Google Maps

Poor delivery time management

We got message that our parcel will come from 3 to 5 pm. At 12 am I missed call from them and when I called back to them, they said we had less number of orders and they finished their work for that day. It is crazy, what is the meaning of this message?
And tomorrow at 8:30 I got message that they will deliver from 8:45-9:00. And I need to drive 30 mins to office to get my things.

So sad that itella came to the world

So sad that itella came to the world. They provide the worst shipping quality from all the delivery Companies. Firstly it is impossible to call them even they wrote Their phone number in Internet, you will wait for 15 minutes on call and nobody will answer. Secondly all the parcels they delivery are always late. Always! I am buying a lot from foreign countries and when I see that itella will be responsible for my parcel, the first mind is "what the fck. Really again?"

Limbo in action

So it is second week already and package did not appear. No tracking updates. Call with manager gave me nothing as their answer was "Your package did not come yet" even though it was confirmed that the customs clearance already completed. Not sure if I will get package at all...

Bitten off more than they can chew?

So far can't think of anything positive to say about my experience with this service, unfortunately. The projected delivery dates are useless (everything is late) and the online tracking as well as management of the parcel are highly flawed. Be ready to wait and then receive your parcel to a storing box in some random location instead of the one you chose (or your home address). It seems the company can do better, but is overwhelmed with parcels from large international web stores.

Frozen Fiasco: The 5km Parcel Pantomime

Oh, Itella Lithuania, where shall I begin? It's like they took a wrong turn into the land of absurdity and got lost in a sea of incompetence. So, picture this: I'm eagerly awaiting my package like a kid on Christmas morning, only to find out that it decided to take a scenic route to a parcel locker that apparently doubles as Narnia, conveniently located 5 km away from my home. Bravo, Itella, bravo.

Now, I understand they may have a thing for surprise workouts, but making me trek through icy streets to reach a parcel locker? That's a bold strategy. Who needs the gym when you can slip, slide, and skate your way to disappointment?

But wait, it gets better. I reached out to their customer service, expecting a superhero to swoop in and save the day. Instead, I got a customer disservice agent who probably moonlights as a stand-up comedian, because she had me laughing at the audacity of her refusal to help. I asked for a home delivery, and she treated it like I'd asked for the moon on a silver platter.

So here I am, stuck in an icy, parcel-locker-infested maze, contemplating the life choices that led me to this courier service. If you're in the market for a laugh or a good workout in subzero temperatures, go ahead and use them. For actual delivery needs? Well, let's just say I've had better luck sending messages in a bottle.
