I entered skeptical, and left a believer. JS has a great process simply put. It had been 20+ years since i actually needed a resume to look at new career ops. I chose to go piecemeal, buying the Resume/LinkedIn support first ... then onto the coaching and use of the Jobs Portal. Their approach to building a resume/linkedin profile was an eye opener to me - if you do nothing else, just use their resume/linkedin development - you will be amazed at how they take what you thought was a good resume and changed it into a life-document that clearly shows what you've done in your career and in a language that speaks to the folks on the hiring side. I have landed my new role, and hiring candidates is first on my list ... 90% of the resumes i read are avg to poor - i went back and compared what JS put together for me, and it is obvious to me that mine looked avg to poor before JS. At least start with the $5k or whatever that intro amount is -- you too will be amazed at how they capture what you've done in your career and turn it into something a hiring manager wants to see ... something that is not generic and full of buzzwords ... instead something that captures the substance of your career.

- Exceptional: This is a bespoke service run by consummate professionals. They are responsive, friendly, informative, and supportive. My experience with the coaching/interview prep was a major highlight.

- The Good: (a) The presales was fast and complicated because it was very comprehensive. They explained a lot which helped me trust them compared to their competition - most services I shopped with were a lot less willing to discuss the details of their process. This was informative, but also a bit overwhelming.

(b) The quality of the deliverables (resume, bios, etc.) was good, but needed significant honing by me. I thought it would be a bit more polished, but the work was solid and saved me a LOT of time and energy.

- The Opportunities: While the executives were exceptional and (what I think were) more senior staff were great, the lower-level staff weren't quite as tight. There were a couple missed emails and most anything I asked them had to go up the chain for a decision or guidance. I didn't really understand their value beyond basic coordination, despite them being explained to me as more of a concierge.

- What to Know: This is a boutique service with premium pricing. You pay for an exceptional experience and you get an exceptional experience. I don't think they should apologize for their prices, but this is not for bargain hunters.

- Overall Take: Why 5 stars if I'm giving constructive feedback? Because there is no such thing as perfect, but this organization STRIVES to serve its customers and has EXCEPTIONAL expertise in their field. I learned so much throughout the process and felt prepared for every interaction I had with potential employers. I'm ultimately a very satisfied customer.
