I haven't been paid for a survey that I completed. There's something strange reason this company thinks that they can get paid from your work product and not pay you for what you have completed. They make you wait 10 days after you submit your work for it to be approved although they approve my late then after the 10 days they expect you to wait another 10 days before you were paid well that time is up as well they haven't paid me they are ignoring me your customer service is non-existent and they are purposely holding my payment back I got in touch with your payment provider and was a form unofficially that they were told to hold my payment back I want my money from them and I don't understand why they think it's all right to do this to someone who is a single mother and who works sometimes 18 hours a day to provide for me and my son. They are very unethical in their dealings and I would suggest that no one ever ever participating in any of their activities because if you get paid as a crap shoot no one should have to worry about whether they're getting paid for work that this company has already gotten paid for. After being told that I would be paid once the 10-day. Was up now that the 10-day period is up I am being told that they are experiencing technical issues I don't believe them and I know the four fact that they are lying they refuse to pay me my money

Bunch of crooks. They accepted my survey results. After 1 month of non payment they automatically cancelled my survey response so they cant pay anymore

Dishonest and misleading
I went through profile setup and "training" (more of a promotion) before responding to a survey. After completing the survey, which was supposed to pay a fee to me, I was told that the survey reached its goal of participation and my input was not required. This should have been told BEFORE I answered all survey questions. I do not trust that Maven Consulting is operating honestly.

Thanks for sharing this — we understand why it felt unfair. Most research studies have quotas set by the client, and sometimes those fill while someone is still completing a survey. When that happens, responses stop being accepted and incentives aren’t issued, which is a standard practice across the research industry, not unique to Maven.
The “training” you mentioned is our annual consulting orientation video for anyone who may take part in paid consulting or surveys, so you won’t be prompted to watch it for every project.
Your time matters to us, and we’re working on clearer upfront messaging around quotas and eligibility.

Delayed payment experience, no response to outreach
I have two outstanding balances and I am waiting for Maven to pay. One is for a referral and one is for a successfully completed consultation. My outreach to your team has gone unanswered and I show “no pending payments”.

The supporting staffs of Maven are GREAT!
The supporting staffs of Maven are very professional and dedicated. Last week when my client did not show up for a scheduled meeting, I notified Maven staffs right away. Within hours they were able to reschedule the meeting with my client and sent me the invite. This week I had a successful meeting with my client and discussed important matters with them. This would not have happened without the excellent work by Maven staffs.

Scam be aware!! I completed a survey for over half an hour until the very end ("thanks for your participation") just for Maven to tell me afterwards that I did not qualify or they already had enough answers (they just kept coming up with nonsense why they shouldn't compensate me). Avoid at all costs!!!!

Brilliant Plan for THEM
Here is what they do imho. They send you a survey , wou fill out sometimes quite a bit of data and then they tell you that you don't qualify BUT they have already captured your data. Brilliant in a way , the old carrot on the stick , but quite duplicitous. So if you want to give your data away for free (I mean with the carrot being a payment) and then be told you don't qualify repeatedly then this is the place for you I read your response and I do not believe you
