Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. People express concerns about various aspects of the business, particularly regarding payment issues. Consumers report instances of being charged despite having proof of payment, leading to frustration and the need to appeal. The price is another sore point, with some reviewers feeling that the company is unfairly extracting money from customers. Consumers also report issues with claims, location-related problems, and difficulties in contacting the company. Many feel the company issues fines without proper verification and makes it difficult to appeal. The lack of responsiveness and poor communication further exacerbate the negative sentiment.

That parking company shouldn’t exist!

My experience with ParkMaven was frustrating. I was an authorised visitor at Regus, followed all instructions, yet they still issued a parking charge and refused my appeal, demanding £20 to cover the administrative costs of issuing the ticket. I have now appealed with POPLA. That parking company shouldn’t exist!

These people are total thieves

These people are total thieves, fleecing members of the public in a brazen way. I unfortunately had to encounter them when I attended courses at the Holiday Inn in Impington. They extorted money that was not due to them, through 'fines'. I have complained to Holiday Inn, and am hoping they stop using this company. I won't be using Holiday Inn while they have these guys on the forecourt.

Money focused instead of customer focused

I appealed a parking fine and instead of investigating, ParkMaven went into debt collection mode thus not allowing me to follow up with my appeal. Luckily, my parking was at a hotel and they got the fine removed. I would not trust ParkMaven to be honest. They appear not to be customer focused and more profit focused. 1 star for the review is more than they deserve.

This company is pure scum

This company is pure scum, they wrongfully issue a parking fine, sent said fine to the wrong address, ignored my appeal when I finally got the parking fine letters, ignored every attempt to reach out. As a result of them ignoring me they escalated to dcbl, another company comprised of scum who are not interested if parkmaven have effectively lied and wrongfully issued a parking fine, and just try and bully and intimate tou until you pay.

You are all thieves and will do what ever you can to steal money from people, i hope you rot.

Typical predatory parking company

Parked at Cedar court hotel in Bradford. Paid for parking as we always do. It seems the American who paid for all the parking accidentally entered a zero instead of an O. An obvious error that should have been noticed and no ticket sent out. Being your usual predatory parking scumpany a ticket was sent out which also incurred a £35 fee from the vehicle rental company for passing on my details. After had reviews went up on social media the hotel manager had the parking fine cancelled in return for me removing the bad reviews but there is still the matter of the £35 which nobody is taking responsibility for. Lovely hotel but beware as the parking is run by a bunch of con artists like all private parking companies. They send out tickets knowing most people will just pay them.

Scamming company preying on the vulnerable

This company arw just a bunch of scammers praying on vulnerable people . At the Woolshops in Halifax everyone is getting parking fines even though they have paid for parking . They have even brought in a 20p charge for a parking receipt , an absolute cheek . I have been sent a fine today for 07/01/2026 even though I have an email receipt of payment like so many others . Ao now I have to on my days off work lodge an appeal .

This company are absolute scammers. We paid for parking in London for 4 nights had all transactions to prove it but yet they say we didn't pay. Took it to appeal and said not enough evidence. Not sure what other evidence you can have when I provided receipt, bank transaction to prove we paid. POPLA took the side of park maven even with all the evidence to back up.

PCN and no communication from parkmaven

Received a PCN - for parking earlier than our booking parking time. We arrived at Holiday Inn Portsmouth at 16.06.43 We unloaded the car went to reception had to wait to check in, received parking discount code and booked in using the auto pay - time on receipt 16.14 under 8mins.
We only got this explanation when l got in touch with Your Parking Space, having had no reply from parkmaven in over two weeks and three emails with a copy of the parking receipt. As a ‘gesture of goodwill’ parkmaven dropped the charge. So always make sure you get a receipt, and get in touch with Your Parking Space they were fantastic.

I received a car parking fine on 19/01/2026

I received a car parking fine on 19/01/26, for 5/01/26 at Princes Quay in Hull, when I definitely paid and have the proof. I’m thinking I must have entered the wrong details, but after reading some reviews I’m starting to think it’s an error on their end. I’ve appealed the fine and sent proof of payment. Hoping to get a response soon.

I paid for parking at Holiday Inn…

I paid for parking at Holiday Inn Bicester day after Boxing Day. A week later I get a Parking Charge. I appealed with evidence and they then accepted the wrong charge telling me that there was a technical error that my car registration was not sent through from the booking platform. My arse - it seems that this is a frequent if not scam error. Always appeal.

Parking Charge Aztec West Bristol

Fell into the trap of late for a meeting , was told first 90 mins free , meeting was for an hour . Meeting went on longer , phone signal diabolical . End result a FPN for £60 , which I forgot to action then became £100.
I appealed stating all the issues that day . My appeal was declined as expected , however the fine was reduced to £10 , A few ponds over the actual parking charge . A company that listens in my opinion and is fair . Well Done

*INVOICED* x3 in one day even though I paid to park.

ESPLANADE HOTEL PAIGNTON
We booked a room on the 27th December, after staying here, I received 3 parking fines from this private parking company the Hotel use, 3!! 3 fines for £100 each.
I paid for the parking via the the app with full proof which is what the hotel tell you to do.

It seems this is how these bottom feeding parasites work after reading the reviews. Make money by slapping fines even though parking has been paid! What a company.

Can't wait to crush another bunch of crooks in court 👊
