Worst experience from an online retailer

I have never experienced such incompetence purchasing from a company. I was very careful, speaking to their AI bot before making the purchase, allowing it to create the purchase invoice but then once it was handed to a human, everything went wrong. They are very quick to take your money but as soon as something goes wrong on THEIR end, their customer service will either ignore you or give you a passive aggressive reply!

Do NOT buy a screen protector from them.

Sold me a 40€ screen protector with "2 years warranty". The screen protector started to peel away on its own after 4 months, and when I wanted to replace it under warranty, they refused, saying the screen protector is damaged somewhere else. Mind you this has absolutely no effect on the screen protector peeling away, that will do it on its own were there any marks or not.

Long waiting period for delivery

I ordered a tablet in 10.11. And it wasn't even a home delivery or a delivery to a postal point, it was a store pickup. The packaging isn't even processed or confirmed yet. And the expected delivery date is 27.11? Yep, nobody is waiting that long for a tablet. Really nice service 👍

ZTE K1 Pro smartwatch

I bought a ZTE K1 Pro smartwatch from Power, advertised as water- and dust-resistant. After some rain, the watch stopped working.

Power sent it to their partner Resete, who charged me €49.90 just for looking at it — no repair, no replacement, no refund.When I asked for clarification, this was Power’s official reply:
“The product has been sent to the official repair shop and they’ve noted a fault that voids warranty (broken screen). When the screen is broken, it means the product has had some kind of impact… which causes it to lose water and dust resistance.”

my watch failed in the rain, but Power claims it must have been my fault — without showing any proof or photos. Instead, I just paid €49.90  for nothing.

Power may have “saved” a few euros today, but they lost me as a customer forever. I’ll stick with Gigantti and Verkkokauppa, where customers are actually respected.

Extremely rude, slow and customer unfriendly service.

Bought a washing machine in Power and paid it at once online. Paid with Debit, so money left my account at once. A week later I've got a message that Power returned money to my account. The funds became fully available. The status of the parcel on Power's website was "käsittelyssä". I assumed the machine was not available, and I needed that urgently. The money were fully available on my account so I bought a machine from another shop. After some days I receive a notification that Power cancelled the money return, charged this amount again and sent me the machine. Still the parcel was not registered with delivery service yet. I called Power and explained the situation. The assistant refused to do anything but demanded I fill in the return form online. I asked not to send the machine, but she was - without even pretending to check - insisting that the machine was sent, that the money were not returned and I just have to fill in the online return form. I filled in the form, but they really take their time to process it. After that I've been in mail exchange with Power, and despite all explanations they insisted that the money were not sent back, but just frozen (lies, as they were never frozen, but went from my account and then returned, and I could use them paying a new machine, which would not be possible, if they would be just frozen), that the machine was sent duly... They really do nothing to resolve any issues, not even urgently, but just promptly. Extremely rude, slow and customer unfriendly service.
And my previous experience is the same - shop assistants do not know their products. In the best way they just read the tag on the device and can't answer any questions. I was buying a modem from them, and they couldn't advise anything, but googling something and gave some irrelevant or false information.
I hope they'll just go bankrupt with this attitude.

Use Verkkokauppa or Giganti!!! Both are much more ethical and have great customer service.

I recently had an amazing experience at a popular Finnish electronics retailer, and I just had to share! They have everything you can think of, from the latest smartphones to reliable home appliances, all at super competitive prices. What really stood out to me was the fantastic customer service—knowledgeable staff who are genuinely eager to help. I felt valued as a customer. If you're in the market for electronics, this place is definitely worth a visit!

What can I say

What can I say, alongside a recommendation for the most amazing electronics and home appliance retailer in the country… I have shopped many times here and always I am satisfied.
First, they have a fantastic selection of everything from mobile devices to kitchen gadgets and gaming accessories, all at super competitive prices. Horrible appliance installation services

I bought a dryer with delivery and installation. I purchased a drain extension and connector in advance. It turned out the dryer has a non-standard drain, and I need a different adapter. The technician doesn’t carry any spare parts, so I have to pay another €40 for installation. Additionally, their pricing only lists installation, without specifying whether it’s for placing the dryer next to or on top of the washing machine. After installation, they charged me an extra €11 for placing it on top of the washing machine, even though this was not mentioned anywhere when I'm making an order. It’s a small amount, but why isn’t this stated upfront instead of being charged after installation?!​ This looks like a scam and extortion.

I bought a washing machine from POWER. The staff was well-trained and knowledgeable about their products and gave me great recommendations. We had the washing machine installed in two days (we bought it on Saturday afternoon and got it on Tuesday). The shipping gentlemen were friendly and professional. Power-Oulu was really good and trustworthy.

I recently visited Power Raisio Turku to buy an action camera in installments. Unfortunately, they turned me down because I couldn't read or understand Finnish to sign an agreement. When I asked customer service about it, they said it wasn't part of their rules and English was enough. But if that's the case, why was I rejected? Businesses must treat everyone fairly, regardless of race, language, or ethnicity. Power should consider educating their staff about multiculturalism and inclusiveness, since at the end of the day we are all human.

Do not buy from Power

Horrible experience.
We bought an outlet washing machine after Power reassured us that the reason it was originally returned was a long waiting time. Well, when it came to us, it came with a broken seal.

Power frist tried to trick us into repairing it under warranty but after some back and forth agreed to take it back and pay us our money back. They agreed to that after i threatened them if I did it under warranty, I'd make sure the repair company documented if the machine had been tinkered with before. After that, Power confirmed that the actual reason it was initially returned to them was, indeed, a broken seal, which they tried to repair but did it very badly. Effectively, Power confirmed that they lied to us and sold us a faulty product, which we would never have bought should we have known its history.

Power, then, would not come to fetch this washing machine for quite a while, but when they decided to fetch it finally, they did it with a 15-minute notice (during the work day). Luckily my wife was at home. Since then, we have not got our money back from them.

Power agreed to pay our money back to us on November 10. Fast forward to December 1, still waiting.

Terrible company. Avoid them at all costs.

The web shop gives false promises of…

The web shop gives false promises of faster delivery of products than competitors. After you pay and order they send you an update informing you that the actual delivery date is the another... later and similar to those of competitors. In short, they are cheating the customer.

Horrible Customer Experience

The most horrible customer experience! Power Vesterport had a very unprofessional employee who insulted me as a customer for not accepting his point that I can’t return a product because its package has been opened.
I bought an apple 13 mobile and was not satisfied and returned it but they refused to return my money . According to them , there is no return policy on apple products after the package is opened which is ridiculous . I believe this is wrong and violates customers right to return a product if/when dissatisfied.
Additionally, they sold me mobile and electricity services that are very expensive and bad . Never trust them and their products .
I will be contacting apple global to report this horrible policy of theirs and make sure they take note .
I will let all my family and friends know how horrible POWER threats it customers . Horrible Horrible and horrible

Racist staff members, shocking customer service

Horrible company, with the worst customer service I have experienced with any company, period. Racist staff members, and terrible online customer support. Bought an item from the company which was faulty, they blamed it on me, and after 2 months of going back and forth between the store, they agreed to repair it. It has now been almost 4 months since it was sent off to repair, and they keep making new excuses as to why it hasn't come back from repair. They refused to refund me in the first place also. Will never use this company again.

Use Verkkokauppa or Giganti!!! Both are much more ethical and have great customer service.

I have shopped multiple times in-store…

I have shopped multiple times in-store in many different locations and my experience has been very positive. Recently I decided to order something online and everything was delivered very fast. I also really liked the packaging, it seemed like they went the extra mile to make it very protective but also look pretty :)

Never received my orders.

Tried ordering the same product multiple times over two month because their website says the have it in stock in their stores. Every time I waited for weeks and had to contact their customer service to hear that actually there is a mistake in their stock and the product is not available. The product STILL shows in stock on their website. They didn't even bother to fix that. Luckily got my money back each time but I wont get back the time wasted in this pointless exchange with their customer service. NOT RECOMMENDED.
