Scam

Scam. It's the same old patter - you agreed to support, blah blah, The booklets promised are cheap and nasty - they will send you a couple, but nothing arrives at the school. Once sucked in they will keep saying you promised something you didn't and threaten to to take you to court if you don't pay. DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING.

Rip off / then today demanded payment all over again !

Paid £240.05 to have about 400 Safety Steps 4 Life brochures delivered to Burgate School Fordingbridge in November 2024... Burgate School has no knowledge of ever receiving the educational brochures for Year 8 onwards pupils.... When I queried this earlier this year - Stepping Stones said they would investigate and ring me back. They never did....Today 23 October 2025 I had a call from their accounts dept demanding payment (which I made on 8 Nov 2024) otherwise they would send collectors in to claim the money. To be threatened in the same conversation made me look up Trust Pilot - and I find I am not alone - how are these people still operating - I nearly said "in business" - this is NOT business but a total RIP OFF

More of the same

More of the same, rang up out of the blue saying i had agreed to sponsor endorse them for books for my local school , I couldn't remember the discussion, but thought, i might have done, so agreed to sponsor them £499. Today i get another invoice for £599 for the sequel. Avoid! a complete fraud under the guise of a charitable organisation.

Cold calling fraud

I've had a cold call from someone saying I'd agreed to sponsor a book for a local school. It rang a very vague bell, so I'm not sure if they've been in touch to plant a seed six months ago.
The contact explained that I company would be named in the book etc etc, and they were ready to go. I could pay there and then and I would get a £30 discount.

They said they'd send me an invoice for the full amount, which we've received but never agreed to.

They have a website and a limited company - definitely one of the cleverer frauds.

Anyway, they have sent an invoice, which also includes a sample of the book. The company is Stepping Stones for Life Ltd, registered 14440652
