I am giving one star because it won't allow 0!!!! It deserves 0 stars. The driver left my order by elevators in a random building. He called me to ask for the address which he should have, right? Anyway, he didn't even speak English. Lol.. They hire people who can't speak or understand English. I called the restaurant and they said we have a translator here and he said he left my order by the elevator because he had to go. Drivers need translators if they don't speak and understand English. Needless to say, I didn't get my order. I spent 30 mins going back and forth with chat messages about my refund and still didn't eat. Customer service chat boxes are the worst!! I am still waiting on the refund of the tip paid upfront. He doesn't deserve a tip. I have used Uber eats twice, this being the second and worst experience. I wished I had read the reviews first, I would not have bothered. Zero stars.

Incorrect charge with no matching order – Uber Eats not responding
I was charged £15.53 by Uber Eats on 31 January with no matching order in my account.
I contacted Uber Eats through the app regarding this incorrect charge, but received no response.
There was a valid order for £15.67 on the same day, which is correct.
The £15.53 charge has no receipt or order reference.
Due to the lack of response and unresolved billing issue, I no longer trust Uber Eats and will not be using the service again.

Terrible service. Any problem you might have they just give you a generic answer and do not solve or reimburse anything.
Here's my utmost honest opinion about you.
Let me tell you whats utterly wrong with your company when it comes to your employees. Your employees don't give an utter care in the world about any delivery they take, whether it be soaked, destroyed, half eaten or drunk, they bring it in the most diabolical state anyone's ever seen and whenever someone tries to get help for it, you go; "Sorry, thats the restaurants problem" and shove the issue off into our faces. Your are without a shadow of a doubt such a careless bunch of human waste and need to improve DRASTICALLY. You need to start caring about your customers more, start cracking down on your USELESS DRIVERS/DELIVERERS and actually provide an amazing service. Your competitors aren't nearly close to as bad as your company is if you keep the deliverers you have currently, the ones who do not care about anyone but themselves.

Both orders were grocery and the second not only gave me a fraction of what I ordered I tried everything possible to have it rectified with nothing that could be described as a possible customer service was available. The driver was "well that's what it is and now the order is closed so I can't review it" so from front line to endless loop of useless boys I see how clearly the company value customers. And yes, at full price because they didn't honour their own promo code.Never again going to even try.

I had ordered two subs and didn’t realize until a second later that it was to my address but I was somewhere else. When I went to edit address they asked on my app do I want to cancel my order and of course I did so I could reorder and have it sent to the address where I was.
When I looked at my email Uber Eats charged me a $28 fee for cancellation!

I’ve used Uber and Uber Eats for years — 600+ rides plus many deliveries — and this situation completely changed my opinion.
I ordered sushi because the listing said “Buy One, Get One Free.” I assumed the second item would be applied automatically when selecting the promo item. It wasn’t clear that I needed to manually add two.
I received only one portion and contacted support. Their response: “You should have added two.” But instead of offering any reasonable fix, they refused every solution:
• sending the missing item (I even offered to pay delivery)
• enabling pickup
• reissuing the order
I wasn’t demanding a refund. I wanted the missing promo item or a practical way to get it. Support repeatedly closed the chat with “we already helped.”
This is not customer service — it’s ticket-closing. Promotions should be clear, and when there’s confusion, a company this big should handle it with fairness and basic respect.

I’m so disappointed with this service, driver was SO lazy didn’t even bother getting out his car. We did not receive the food and after an hour of waiting we didn’t even get a refund !this is ridiculous
worst customer service
I'd give 0 starts, or even negative, if I could. I had ordered from uber eats and thought it went through but didn't receive any confirmation email about the order. I checked my app abot 30 mins later and it wasn't working and said something like "oops, something's gone wrong" and it wouldn't refresh. Checked my email again and no confirmation. I went and physically picked food up because it hadn't gone through. I woke up the next morning and an email from Uber eats had been sent at 2:38am saying my food was delivered. I still had no confirmation email. The food was sitting out on my porch all night. I called the next morning and they said because the food had been delivered, there's nothing they could do for me. I asked to talk to someone higher up and they said expect a call in 48 hours. I didn't receive a call. I finally called back and they again said there was nothing they could do for me. Holy smokes, in my 40 years of being alive I've never experienced worst customer service. Anyways, would not recommend and will never be using Uber Eats or Uber again.
Avoid looking at app, they are thieves
I was browsing on their app the other day just looking at what they would charge for an order. I decided not to go ahead with and to my knowledge I had not confirmed or verified anything. Later in the day I noticed that they had charged me for 2 orders which I had not made. Since then I have been constantly trying to get this resolved through their support chat. They told me at one point I wouldn’t be charged but a few days later the charge went through. They keep asking to same scripted questions over and over and except you to continuously repeat the issue, no doubt hoping you’ll give up. The issue is still ongoing

This company I feel discriminated against me. I signed up to deliver however I discovered I entered one of my digits wrong on my Social Security number so my background check came back. It’s not being able to verify my social. I contacted CHECKR and was told to contact Uber Eats that they could fix it for me and resend the link for them to verify my Social Security number. I contacted Uber Eats and told them this an Uber eats said that they can’t fix it. I have to go back and speak to CHECKER so I went back and I spoke to them again and they’re telling me the same thing that Uber Eats has the tools to fix this issue. However, Uber eats are refusing to allow me to fix the issue and I believe it’s because I’m Nigerian living in America. In which I explained to them this and now all of a sudden, I’m having all of these issues. I Also Dr., Uber in Nigeria with a LEGIT Uber account so I don’t understand. What’s the issue in America. As I’ve applied to drive in America. Uber Eats is telling me that third-party that does their background checks has the tools to fix my issue but my third-party are telling me they don’t have the tools they’re saying that Uber Eats has the tools to fix it. Ordered early morning selected what I wanted, scheduled for delivery mid afternoon. Get a call from the restaurant they are sold out of everything I ordered asked them to cancel and they instructed I do through the app. Doing so I was fully charged for the order with absolutely nothing to show for it. I had the worst experience on my last order. I have never dealt with such stupidity from someone. you can’t reach anyone, and the “person” in chat tells you illogical information. I try to connect to a manager because the customer service was so bad but he wouldn’t even acknowledge that I wanted to speak to a manager. On top of that, I tried to send an email somewhere, or call somewhere afterward, and there’s literally nowhere to call or email to speak to somebody, anybody to express the dissatisfaction I have. This lead me to cancelling my Uber 1 membership because how horrible this experience was.
