Feel like I’m stuck in the matrix
Feel like I’m stuck in the matrix
Left a phone on an EasyJet flight to Newcastle. Tracker showed it going back to Charles de Gaule airport. Was told to register it as lost on the Troov website. A month later I get a Troov ‘match’ out of the blue and pay €38 for 3-4 day postage to have it returned to the UK. That was 2 weeks ago.
Boxtal tracking shows it’s never been handed to them by the airport. Troov is who I paid but they haven’t replied and their website says contact Boxtal, who say they can’t help. CDG airport lost property can’t help. EasyJet can’t help. Who do I go to next?? Surely it’s not that complicated?

It was all done through the Troov website. They don’t provide details of the sender so I have no idea of who this is or how to contact them. You won’t provide me with that information for confidentiality. So please can you contact them on my behalf??

I understand your frustration with this situation that is dragging on.
To begin with, I want to assure you that our customer relations service does not seek to refer you to other interlocutors without reason. For confidentiality reasons, we are not authorized to transmit the personal information of our client who is your sender.
That’s why we asked you to contact them directly. They are the ones who hold the object, who created the shipment and who can confirm or not the deposit of the package.
Regarding the lack of movement on the tracking, the carrier has not yet taken care of your package because the offer chosen by your sender requires a deposit at the post office. As long as this deposit has not been made by the sender, the routing cannot start and no scan appears on the tracking.
I understand that you are in a complex situation and that several interlocutors seem to pass the buck, which adds to your frustration.
However, in your case, only the sender can make progress by dropping off your package at the post office of their choice or contact us to open a dispute file if the merchandise is no longer located.
On our side, we remain fully available to intervene as soon as the package is handed over to the carrier and the routing begins.
I hope that your file will be released quickly, and I remain at your disposal if needed.
I also tried to reach you twice by phone but I came across your messaging, on which I left you a message.

Boxtal vs others
I discovered Boxtal while searching alternatives to send an 11kgs 75x75x15cm parcel from France to Croatia.
DPD and GLS were about 85 euros.
Chronopost wasn't able to quote directly due to too large parcel.
So Boxtal gave me a price of 35 euros and shipped through Chronopost network!!!! Drop off in post office. Believe it or not.
In 5 days parcel was in Zagreb.
So I deeply recommend Boxtal.

Do not use Boxtal
Hello,
As I mentioned before, I strongly do not recommend using Boxtal.
I used Boxtal to send a parcel with FedEx. However, FedEx lost my parcel in June, and since then I have been struggling with the customer service to understand the computation for the compensation.
Their customer service is not responsive, they are understaffed and do not address properly the customer complaints. They have also shown a lack of consistency between their responses, and have changed their mind several times. You cannot call them except when THEY decide to reach you.
Unfortunately, they answer faster on social media (see answers from Gabriel) than on customer service… Perhaps they want to show a better image than they actually have.
First, in one message sent from Boxtal, they confirmed that FedEx is taking care of the refund and has confirmed the initial amount. Then, they sent a different indemnity (of course less than the initial amount). The two main arguments proposed by Boxtal: they are using their own budget (which is not consistent with the message previously sent) and then I have declared less than the amount refunded by FedEx.
It is true that I declared less than the global amount refunded by FedEx, but in the end they are keeping the difference refunded by FedEx and the amount given to me.
Again, I strongly do not recommend Boxtal, they have shown a lack of professionalism

However, you say that Boxtal does not wish to reimburse you for all your invoices paid by Fedex.
I remind you that it was Boxtal that decided to compensate you after the insurer’s refusal for misrepresentation of the nature of the goods.
We have also decided to compensate you for the total amount of invoices sent, which is above the amount declared at the beginning.
Our litigation department and I took the time to explain all of these processes that you do not want to understand.
In the future, we advise you to declare the good merchandise you are shipping and its true value because few companies will agree to compensate you after this kind of fact.

I paid online and after 2 days my shipment was picked up . After a one day I got a info that it’s gonna be returned .
Reason of return is that they don’t ship kitchen appliances. How it can be ? Then why you took the money and send courier to pick it up ???? When I fill the form I put the description and all the correct details . It’s unfair.
Now the company don’t want to refund and not answering the email anymore .
Also when I asked to use the money to ship another item they refused and told no.
Very unprofessional company .

Not thrustworthy
This is a scam. I tried to sell a product and the buyer adviced me this site. Out of nowhere got a phone call to verify my credit card (same way paypal does it but not via call). Eventually they took €100 (for now) away without any notice and they got access to my financials.
