Listed as a seller with Bulgarian registered organization.
The ebay.de couldn't verify our account about 5-6 times.
Employees also couldn't figure out that's all the documents we have as Bulgarian company. We are verified everywhere Amazon.de, Wise, Emag. Decided to just close the account since no point to deal with such incompetent"marketplace" Just avoid them and list on Amazon.de...

"Unused" can mean "Used" according to eBay
I bought an e reader listed as "never used". When I opened it, it was full of someones titles and had been used very much. It would not connect to my computer normally, and caused Windows Explorer to act strangely; it was unusable and I feared that it had a virus, my security software was unable to read it.
I complained to eBay and after a few weeks got a reply:
"We wanted to let you know that we closed your report for the below referenced listing(s). These listings have not been removed. This determination was made using automation or artificial intelligence."
It seems that "unused" can mean "used" according to eBay's higher intelligence!
Stay the hell away!!!

Shill bidders ruin the experience
Shill bidders ruin the experience
Ebay is OK but it's no longer cheap and all the old controls to identify and report shill bidders have been stripped away, allowing open season on ebayers. I've using ebay a long time but I am tired of not bring able to protect myself from shillers, sometimes I'm not able to be around to manually do the bid sniping that is the only way around the issue.
2 phones Samsung S24
I bought 2 phones Samsung S24 for €478,95 each. I got delivered only 1 phone, so I proceeded to return it following eBay’s customer service recommendation. In the end, I was refunded the price of only 1 phone, so the 1 I never received was never refunded to me.
This is online fraud and constitutes a serious breach to the buyers rights, which should be protected and guaranteed by eBay. I am deeply disappointed with eBay and I now lost nearly €500 for its lack of customer service professionalism.
Please think twice before buying something expensive on eBay.
Why do I need to give my bank log-in just so that ebay can transfer my money.. IBAN should be enough..
Why do I need to give my bank log-in just so that ebay can transfer my money.. IBAN should be enough.. and now they even restrict my profile due to that.. because they owe money.. not the other way around!
Ebay support fake product descriptions as it does not contravene Ebay policy some how
Ebay have advised that a product listed as a glucose monitor that cannot measure Glucose does not contravene EBay policy. The product seller has advised despite its description it does not measure Glucose. Apparently EBay are happy for product descriptions to be blatantly untrue. Now we all know EBay is not a safe reliable trading place
eBay customer support is complete idiots
eBay customer support is complete idiots. They blocked my selling account because of some new nonsense metrics called BBE policy. What does it matter that I have 100% pozitive customer reviews as a seller and eBay itself says I am an "above standard" seller. They blocked my account, delisted my products and froze my money that I was supposed to receive from the sale. They destroyed my business and stole all my money!!! And all this before Christmas. I am really in a desperate situation now. In fact, I am even worse off than before selling on eBay because I bought a lot of products and invested a lot of money, time and lost everything. Never sell through this selling platform unless you want to end up like me.
Bad Customer Service,Bad Website
I registered and created my account. Then I visited the site to look at the products, sellers, and reviews, etc. I became interested in a few sellers, and to avoid losing their information, I saved it to my phone. That way, when I'm back on eBay, I'll go directly to those sellers. Then I logged out. A few minutes later, I received emails in my Gmail saying that eBay had permanently blocked my account. I can't use it. I contacted eBay because I know I haven't done anything wrong, and I'm being honest. eBay told me it's to protect their site and their customers, and its sorry, it s nothing him can do. I'm blocked forever.
eBay enabling UPS scam. No money back guarantee.
Purchased an item for 126.30 euro from Maglar-88 on eBay.de . It was a Lego artwork. I received a tracking number from UPS but when I was advised it was delivered the tracking information didn't tell me where it was delivered to. No street name or house number. On the towns name was on the delivery confirmation. After asking neighbours nothing had been received. I contacted the seller who didn't reply. I contacted eBay for help. eBay kept insisting the item had been delivered on the evidence of a faulty delivery confirmation. This package could be anywhere in a whole town or not delivered at all. It seems scammers are somehow using Ups to create ghost delivery notes. eBay spoke to me for 40 minutes I have 350 purchase of feedback with 100% but they didn't care. No money back guarantee. Acknowledged there was a problem but told me to report it to the police. Do not buy from eBay as any problems you will not receive your money back

Worst customer SERVICE EVER!!!
EBAY WANTS ME TO SIGN IN 20-30 TIMES…
EBAY WANTS ME TO SIGN IN 20-30 TIMES THE IDIOTS THERE CANNOT UNDERSTAND THAT REQUESTING SO MANY TIMES WITH "CAPCHA" AND PHONE EMAIL ADDRESS ETC ETC AND STILL THESE EBAY IDIOTS CANNOT GET IT RIGHT ! AND IT IS ALWAYS WHEN THEY ARE HIDING SOMETHING ...TYPICAL SCAM SITE ACTIONS THEY DO NOT WANT ME TO SEE !
Useless customerservice
Most other countries it works well. But complete useless in Germany, the customer service employees are simply useless, both when buying and selling
Frustrating, outdated, and unreliable
eBay feels like a platform stuck in the 90s, and their tracking system is a joke. I paid $40 for shipping on a package that just arrived at a pickup point after 2 months!!! eBay marked it as “delivered” the moment it got there - even though I haven’t received it yet. Another package showed as delivered... in a completely different country.
Sellers are often unresponsive, returns are a headache, and fake or useless tracking info is everywhere. Their support can be decent at times, which is more than I can say for some other sites, but overall it’s a frustrating experience. If you want a smooth, trustworthy shopping experience, eBay is not it. I’m done wasting my time and money here.
eBay blocks fraud and technical issue reports
I tried to contact eBay to report a clear case of fraud — but it’s literally impossible.
The reporting form doesn’t work at all: after filling in every required field, it always ends with the message “report could not be sent.”
When I turned to the chatbot, it simply redirected me in endless loops back to the same broken form. There is no working email address or phone number to reach a real person. Even the form to report technical issues is riddled with errors: after clicking “Send,” a new required field suddenly appears — the mobile number — and the form throws an error saying the number is missing, even though the field was never visible before. Worse still, when I try to enter my Dutch number (+31), the country code selector automatically resets to Germany (DE), making it impossible to provide my correct Dutch number. And when finally sending the form, I don’t even receive a confirmation that my request has been submitted.
This is completely unacceptable — and also violates EU consumer law. Under Articles 5(1)(c) and 6(1)(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, companies are legally obliged to provide a direct and effective means of communication, especially in cases involving fraud or contractual disputes.
To make matters worse, the technical service has now responded to my request — in which I explicitly asked them to forward my complaint to the Complaint Department, the IT Department, and the Compliance Department.
I also requested that my buyer protection (“Käuferschutz”) be activated — yet this was completely ignored in their reply.
Instead, this person simply repeated the same instructions on how to report a fraudulent item — the very steps that triggered the error message in the first place. My other request for confirmation that my message was forwarded to the proper departments was completely ignored.
This lack of accountability and transparency is deeply troubling. eBay must urgently address its technical failures and legal compliance gaps — and finally take responsibility for protecting honest buyers.
In the end, I’ve basically served as a free website and compliance tester for eBay — and they still ignore me. What a disappointing level of service and reliability from such a renowned company.
