Crazy delivery timeframe, terrible product and customer service.
We bought some fairly expensive Rattan dining chairs from Mobelaris in Feb 2024. They didn't arrive until late June 2024. Communication throughout the process of getting the chairs was basically non existent and we had to keep chasing to see what was happening. When the chairs finally arrived all looked well.
After a few weeks of using the chairs the rattan on the seat started to fray and break. Into the second month and all of the seats now have large holes in them.
When we contacted Mobelaris to complain and use the 5 year warranty. We were told that we had "misused" the chairs.
We are two fairly slight adults who often eat in the kitchen, so if occasionally sitting down to eat constitutes misuse then fair enough, but to be told that this was the end of the matter in no uncertain terms feels fairly scandalous. We now have 4 useless chairs clogging up the flat and no chance of repair.
Just updating in line with their reply:
- Understood regarding manufacturing timeframe and you put this on the website, but for this product it was specified to be delivered within 6-8 weeks.
- Chairs received in June 2024 (so 18 months ago not two years)
- Product appeared fine on delivery so well done!
- The defects appeared in the first chair after the first few months, but we thought we'd wait and see. We first complained of the defect in early Nov 2025 (well within the "warranty" timeframe)
- I'm replying 2 years after the original order because of all the above. And now having received a reply from you that you won't be resolving the issue with us personally, this is my only outlet. To warn other potential customers.
I would accept responsibility for wear and tear, but this is less than 18 months after the product was delivered.
These chairs were obviously poorly manufactured and you should have taken responsibility for that. Instead, as your reply reflects, you treat your customers with contempt when they raise genuine feedback.
"We remain at your disposal is your default sign off", but it's just not true. The only disposal we now need is of your faulty product.

We are sorry you felt the necessity to leave this review and would like to clarify that part of your order had to be manufactured to order (usually 12-16 weeks) and you received them before this time frame including a partial refund of the amount paid for the product which was offered as a commercial gesture. We have several emails from our updates team that confirm you received timely updates about the status of your order and were assisted by our customer support team. It is also strange that you decided to complain about the estimated lead time 2 years after the order was delivered.
Regarding the condition of your items, it is essential for customers to inspect products upon delivery to ensure there is no transit damage, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions as well as in the shipping and delivery updates you received. Since these chairs were delivered two years ago and have been in use since then, any manufacturing or transit defects would have been apparent at the time of delivery.
As for the Cesca B32 Side Chair - Ash, we have not received any other complaints for this. We have examined the pictures you provided, and forwarded it to the relevant department and supplier. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the fault you reported for the items was not caused by faulty production or damage during transit. If this were the case, the issue would have been present from the start (and you would have reported it as soon as they were delivered). Instead, it appears to be consistent with wear and tear over the past years.
Kindly note that shipping and collecting products can be costly, therefore, we assure you that we would not have sold an item that is not in good condition, only to receive complaints later. We are more than happy to assist and provide solutions in accordance with our terms and conditions.

The product, a coffee table, as delivered was in line with our expectations.
We have suffered from some delivery issues with the logistics provider (independant but contracted by Mobelaris) with very poor support from the logictics causing delivery delays and frustration. But it is worth to mention that Mobelaris customer support has been very pro-active, responsive and efficient.

LC leather two seater sofa
Their items are stylish, well crafted and unique from the High Street stores. My sofa is my fifth purchase from Mobelaris over the past ten years.
I was aware that the delivery would be approximately 12 weeks after placing the order, as the sofa is hand crafted to order. But, the company kept me informed throughout.
Again, I was not disappointed by the design, manufacture and the exquisite leather. It is exactly as I had hoped and perfect for my living kitchen. It complements my LC Mobelaris table, with the back and chrome.

Order not delivered, cancelled and refund only through bank dispute
I placed an order in February 2025 with an estimated delivery time of 12-16 weeks. After more than 5 months, I had neither received the product nor any clear delivery date.
Communication with customer service was vague and, after opening a dispute with my bank, the company unilaterally cancelled my order.
I finally recovered my money thanks to a Visa/Revolut dispute, but not directly from the company.
My experience has been negative and I do not recommend buying here if you expect reliable service or timely delivery.
Hice un pedido en febrero de 2025 con un plazo estimado de entrega de 12-16 semanas. Tras más de 5 meses, no recibí el producto ni una fecha clara de entrega.
La comunicación con atención al cliente fue ambigua y, tras abrir una reclamación con mi banco, la empresa canceló unilateralmente el pedido.
Finalmente recuperé mi dinero gracias a una disputa con Visa/Revolut, pero no directamente por parte de la empresa.
Mi experiencia ha sido negativa y no recomiendo comprar aquí si se espera un servicio fiable ni entregas en plazo.

Unfortunately, what you mentioned in this review is not correct. Kindly keep in mind that when the order was placed the time frame for the product was 12-16 weeks and not 8-12 as you mentioned. The product was made to order and this was confirmed in the first update you received from our team.
Customer support clarified as well that the situation on the Red Sea was affecting the arrival of the products at the docks, and offered compensation as a commercial gesture and exception, they not only offered this once but twice, increasing the compensation as an exception yet you didn't reply or acknowledge those emails and decided to open a dispute. In your own words, you expected to leave the dispute open and receive the products, which could not be accepted, since the products must be paid in full before receiving them, as mentioned in our terms and conditions, (accepted upon purchase), and opening a dispute and receiving products is considered a type of fraud, as mentioned by Stripe (one of the most used payment platforms) https://stripe.com/resources/more/chargeback-fraud-101
Once you informed us that you opened a dispute, we had no option but to cancel the order for the reason mentioned above. Customer support offered you the option to refund the order directly if you preferred, however, you decided to let the dispute continue and wait for your bank to process it directly. Please note that as clarified before, when a dispute is opened, it is not possible for the company to process a refund as the option is blocked by the bank provider, until the process is closed or completed. We tried on several occasions to assist you to the best of our abilities and provided information on the status of the order as requested, but we are unable to accept responsibility for external actions, keeping into consideration the multiple options offered for you.
