Awful company

Awful company. Totally untransparent. Charged me nearly £700 that I was unaware of taken out of my account. Currently in the process of trying to get a refund. Don’t go anywhere near this company.

Poor

Bought the Advent Calendar. The candles aren’t bad but the perfumes are truly awful, smell like cheap copies. Very weak and they don’t last. A complete waste of money.

Lovely heavy weight wool duvet bought which is the best duvet I have had. Very cozy and warm but not too heavy which I can find some wool duvets are. Has helped my sleep greatly.

Waited 2 weeks for my bag which was dreadful quality. Poor workmanship, cheap and tacky. Zips don’t work. Wish I had read the reviews first. Do not buy from this scam of a company.

Awful

If I could give nil stars I would. Arranged a house viewing on line which was confirmed. We were ready to view the house on the day and then had a call saying they would like to sort a viewing out. On talking to Purple Bricks they then said they couldn’t speak to me as the viewing was under my husbands name. How does this company sell any houses. Just dreadful.

Very poor communication

The head office and local branches don’t communicate. Both asking us to ring them and no communication between them both. We are buyers and they have been very poor with us. I would never sell with them, ever. Be very wary.

Beautiful

Very quick delivery. Beautiful paint with the best colours. There are some things to be mindful of when using this paint. The first coat tends to look very streaky but don’t panic the second coat goes on well. Always leave at least 6 hours between coats. I found this made for a much better second coat. The use of a roller is recommended. So a bit of patience is needed in the application but it’s worth it for the end result.

Terrible packaging

The worse packaging ever. Took me an hour to get into the plastic wrapped around the rusted iron hoops. Covered in rust and had to use knives and scissors. Surely the packaging could be reviewed.

Our rustic products are made from a naturally rusted steel, not just a rustic finish so care should be taken when handling and unwrapping, as the rust can transfer.

In regard to plastic usage, our aim is to minimise it whenever possible. We will only include plastic wrapping for fruits and vegetables if it was already present when rescued, or if its usage ensures the produce arrives to you undamaged.

We know that plastic waste is a significant issue but our priority is addressing food waste, which is one of the biggest contributors to climate change. For this reason, we are willing to accept a limited amount of plastic if it prevents fruits and vegetables from being wasted.

We hope this is helpful but we’d still love to answer any more in depth concerns that you might have. We have now sent you an information request so that we can get in touch directly.

Love their products. At last a shampoo that doesn’t irritate my scalp. Also the Spf cream is excellent. I use it over the rose moisturiser. Can’t recommend this range enough and love their ethical credentials too,

Poor

I received a chest of drawers that were not fit for purpose. They are faulty and unable to be put together. Almost like two differing pieces of furniture. I have contacted the firm twice but have had no response. A very expensive mistake. Very disappointed. I am waiting for a response. After contacting them they have now asked us to dismantle the furniture, place in a new box and have it collected. Due to not keeping the original packaging as we foolishly didn’t think there would be a problem we now have to purchase a new large box and spend ages dismantling. A word of advice, don’t go anywhere near this company.
