Decent experience, but can be better
We are quite happy with the sofa, but we have been experiencing some issues.
First would be the delivery, in the SMS we were told the driver would contact us 15-30 minutes before delivery, what really happened is that they called 5 minutes before. Quite annoying, especially when working from home.
When they unloaded the sofa, they pushed one of the modules out of the truck instead of nicely lowering the ramp, by mistake, but it was not great seeing your new sofa falling from the truck, literally. They also parked in a way that made me have to carry the sofa longer than necessary.
In regard to the sofa itself, the shape is a bit off compared to the website pictures. I'm not sure why the foam is sitting a bit differently compared to the website, but it's not terrible, it might be due to the transport and being a bit pressed in the box.
One of the issues that I find annoying actually is that the black mesh cover under the sofa was stapled with too much pressure, and it ripped off in multiple points. When we contacted customer support about it, we were told the following: "The black fabric you see here underneath is called transport fabric. It is used to protect the sofa from dirt and grime during transport. If holes have appeared during transport and this is a problem, it can simply be removed. It has no effect on the use of the sofa 😊"
While doing some research, this doesn't seem to be the case, as in "transport fabric" but it seems to have other purposes as well, such as keeping the dust off. Not to mention, the sofa was covered in plastic foil, and each module was sitting in its own box, so not sure about their reasoning with the "transport fabric".
Again, not a big issue in itself, but having ordered sofas before and always receiving them in perfect condition, this was disappointing. :/
Some things can be done better.
