im mad bc mileven could have actually been cute if they didn’t set them up to fail only to backtrack at the last second. like why would they write them to have so many problems that are never resolved and hardly talk all season 5, but whenever they did they’d say things like “friends dont lie” which is heavily platonic??? it’s just shitty writing overall. and jane dying. just kill me why don’t you. i ship byler through and through, but if they were going to have mileven be “endgame”, why all the arguments and mike not being able to say “i love you,” ??? leading everyone to believe they were over with and set up byler only for no payoff?? it’s ridiculous. mike, jane, and will did not deserve that.
