about me
hello my name is ashton. for some reason some people know me as boop. my main interests are social justice, animal welfare, and art. i also like fun things like video games, older computer rpgs, otome games, and learning japanese.
i have two cats who are named Rowsdower and Thorn. they make my life hell and i love them more than anything.

Made a carrot cake!! I tried a tiny piece and I think it came out fine. Not really a fan of any part of it except the spices and walnuts though. I made it for Matt’s birthday. It’s not a recipe I would ever make for myself, since I hate both carrots and pineapple (which this one used).
I should probably make something ambitious for my own birthday. A layer cake?? With ganache? Maybe?

it’s been 8 years since my best (online) friend ghosted me. i used to think about him every day. he was not in a great place. i hope he’s doing okay. it sucks because now i’d be in a position to help him out.
the worst part is the last time we spoke, he ragequit IRC because of a disagreement over Black Panther (2018). IRC lets you leave a message as you quit, so he got the last word in.
