先日ニューヨークで開催された3D Print Showで、超小型の3Dプリンタ｢The Micro｣が発表されました。これまでも小型の3Dプリンターはいくつかありましたが、｢The Micro｣は超小型/高機能/低価格、とトータルで見ても非常に完成度の高い製品となっています。3Dプリンター本体の筐体サイズは185mm×185mm×185mmと超コンパクト。そのため最大造形サイズも幅109mm×奥行き113mm×高さ116mmと小さいですが、ちょっとした物を作るには十分なサイズでしょう。 フレームはカーボンファイバーを採用しており、重量も1キロと超軽量。積層ピッチは50～350μm(0.05mm～0.35mm)、利用するフィラメントは直径1.75mm。ABS/PLA/ナイロン/木材フィラメント等、様々なフィラメントに対応しており、Micro Motion Sensor Chipにより、15μ
