I had previously been using iScroll plugin but wanted to drop it for the native behaviour. The initial implementation was using webkit-overflow-scrolling: auto; however I updated this to ... webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch .. to enable the motion/inertia on the touch scroll. The issue with this is the list items contained within the navigation disappear completely when scrolling, and only return
I'm deploying a Rails 3.1 app to Heroku's Cedar stack. With Heroku Cedar and Rails 3.1, you can compile the assets yourself locally, let Heroku compile them when you push (during "slug compilation"), or have them be compiled just-in-time while the app is running. I want to do the middle option, letting Heroku precompile the assets. When Heroku runs the assets:precompile task, it errors with "could
I am using the Ack plugin in Vim, which helps me to quickly search for strings in my project. However, sometimes I want to replace all or some occurrences of the found strings. You can do some kind of global search and replace using the Vim arglist like this (source) : :args app/views/*/* :argdo %s/, :expire.*)/)/ge | update But instead of using args, I would prefer to do a search via Ack and then

You have to make your own custom header row and put that as the first row of each section. Subclassing the UITableView or the headers that are already there will be a pain. Based on the way they work now, I am not sure you can easily get actions out of them. You could set up a cell to LOOK like a header, and setup the tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath to manually expand or collapse the section it
