eMMC と SSD の違い
eMMC の方がデータ転送速度が遅い eMMC は、HDD や SSD とは接続インターフェースが異なり、データ転送速度が劣っています。ただし、実際にストレージを使用しての読み込みや書き込み速度は、接続インターフェースのデータ転送速度だけでは決まらず、ストレージにおける読み込みや書き込み処理にかかる時間の長さによっても決まります。その点 eMMC は SSD と同様にフラッシュメモリーを応用したストレージであり、HDD のような複雑な構造を持たないため、ストレージにおける読み込みや書き込み処理にかかる時間が短いです。そのため、実際にストレージを使用しての読み込みや書き込み速度で見ると、eMMC は HDD よりも速いです。ただし、SSD よりは遅いです。つまり、読み込みや書き込み速度が速い順に並べると、SSD、eMMC、HDD となります。パソコンでは、ストレージの読み込みや書き込み
