extremely funny to me that Kermit the Frog is the only main overlap character between Sesame Street and The Muppets. imagine your day job is hanging out in a community of lovely people that genuinely just want to help kids learn and care about everyone so so much and then your night job is the reason that you have to stay up to date on your rabies AND tetanus vaccine
Kermit has a day and a night job, and lives on a little street in the city where he knows the neighborhood.
That always seemed the most real, down to earth, thing about the Muppets.
He's doing announcing and the weather, hanging out on his stoop, then once a week he puts together a variety show with other creatives in town, and it doesn't pay the bills, but he loves it.

I’ve heard there’s a summary by I think M.C. Lion or something on Twitter, and I know hydranomago on here posted their fave bits.
But as for a whole cohesive translation, I think people are still chipping away at it.
pleased to report that in Tim Curry's memoir he is tight-lipped on every single love affair he's EVER had, except of course for the one with Miss Piggy during the filming of Muppet Treasure Island, which he rightfully insists was a quite passionate encounter
