With the relative lack of KH news lately, it’s been hard to make enough money to afford our big dream of hiring an orchestra for every track in the final album we’d originally planned. (If you want to help, stream & share our music with your friends!) But we’re still putting together tiny things here and there. Here’s a teaser–

Nah: it’s a bizarre issue that seemed to affect a lot of musicians and musical groups, apparently. Not sure what the cause was, but we resolved LIGHT’s distribution to all other platforms. For some reason, apple music and itunes takes much longer to host music, but it will return there eventually. Elsewhere, it’s available here: https://materia.to/lightTW (we <3 bandcamp)

haha, we didn’t pull it–there’s an issue with distribution that shouldn’t have happened. Looks like its affecting musicians and labels all over the place too [1] [2] [3]. It will be back again as soon as possible!

Hey! At the moment, Light seems to have been made unavailable for some reason, but we expect this issue will be resolved over the course of the next week while we get some information from our original distributor about why this happened. For now, while we resolve this, the tracks remain on our youtube channel  free to listen to^^

1) It’s probably closer to Darkness, in length…assuming we don’t cut any tracks mid-production. Title reveal will likely be when the arrangements are finished and after we book the recording session. I think it’d be better to not have a year-long wait like Vol 2 hahaha

2) This is really the first series of questions we’ve gotten about album 3. I don’t wanna give away all the cards just yet, but I’m really excited about this work and can probably say a few things. Our tracklist is decided, and it’s roughly one-third KH3/0.2/BackCover music, and the rest are tracks that we’ve been excited to tackle since we started this project. It spans tracks from every other game–canonical and noncanonical–in the series. I’d say that folks will really be surprised by the choices and the styles they’ll be approached in.

bonus) haha, it’s a tossup between The Final World and Scala battle, but there were lots of great originals in KH3! Another fav I don’t see a ton of people talking about is the Guardians of Light track that’s just lovely

Definitely after we have confirmation on the actual track titles from KH3 hahaha. Album 3 tracklist has been tentatively decided (barring any new additions from ReMind we might choose to add), and we’ve begun arranging a few of the non-KH3 tracks from the tracklist^^

Thanks a bunch! <3 SAME THOUGH. It’s super expensive to mass-produce, but we love vinyl too and would jump at the opportunity to create something like this. Since records typically can’t hold too many tracks on a single disc, it might be worthwhile for us to consider releasing a sort of re-recorded/re-mastered “best-of” record containing some top tracks from Awakening, Light, Darkness, and Album 3. (Which tracks would you like to hear re-recorded for vinyl?)

That said, we do have plans in the future for a special production that would fit beautifully as a vinyl-exclusive release. Hope to be able to share more in the following year!

hey! We recently put in an order for more CDs, but I’m afraid the sold out plastic jewel case ones were limited edition. When Album 3 is finished, it would be fun to do a full collection pack–we’ll consider creating jewel, digipak, and vinyl versions for that in the future. Thanks for the interest!
