Driver texted me to let me know he was on his way to pick up my car and a few days later he send another text to let me know that he was on his way to deliver my car in my new destination. Thank you so much for helping me!

Everything worked like it should. Transported my car across the country without any problems or hassle. Price was great and delivery was right on time and smooth. Definitely would use their services again if need arises.

Fraudulent company charging for services not rendered. Montway's dispatched carrier never showed up to pick up my vehicle and Montway still charged me $249. I expected so much more out of a seemingly reputable large transport broker partnered with many dealer auctions. I'm in the auto business and have recommended Montway to many of my customers. I'm now so ashamed of that poor recommendation. I hope they have not treated my referrals as poorly as I recently was. I gave Montway a chance to make it right with 3 calls and 2 emails. All wasted time with no clear answer or resolution... So here's my review of what you can expect from Montway Auto Transport.

After investigating several auto transportation companies to move our Jeep Compass from Houston, Texas to Maui, Hawaii, we decided upon MONTWAY Auto Transport.

The experience was seamless, professional and timely. Our vehicle arrived safely and even came early. MONTWAY Auto Transport was a great choice for us and I would use them again.

First, this is not an auto transport company but a broker. Montway takes your money and then looks for the cheapest driver to complete the job. When you read delivery feedback, you’re actually reading reviews about individual drivers, not Montway itself. I want to review the broker—not a driver.
The broker does not guarantee anything, and in case of issues, they are not on the client’s side. In my case, they tried to charge $200 more than the original quote, claiming that “Copart had to use a forklift.” That’s nonsense—Copart doesn’t charge anything for that. It was clearly an attempt to extract more money.
On top of that, their $250 “deposit” is non-refundable. You lose this money no matter what happens—whether they can’t find a driver, a driver refuses to take the car, etc. There’s also no way to choose a driver; again, the entire process is about finding the cheapest one.

So it’s up to you whether you want to deal with them or not—but for me, that’s no longer a question.

After bad experiences with other shipping companies, I selected Montway and was happy from the beginning to the end. The cost was reasonable and I was put at ease when the shipping company picked up my vehicle at the agreed to date. The driver was great and friendly and transported my Mountaineer with no issues. Delivery was on time with no damages and no surprise charges were incurred. Will use Montway for future transport needs.

Have used Montway before and will again. Chris, the driver, was amazing. He made sure all the cars were aligned and properly strapped down by taking the time necessary to do it correctly. Will have Chris transport my cars from now on. Please give Chris a raise. Thank you

I contracted Montway to transport my vehicle to Texas, trusting that they would vet and manage the carrier professionally. Unfortunately, the experience with the carrier Montway assigned (A Home Delivery LLC – USDOT 2253707) was extremely disappointing and stressful.

The driver arrived one full day late and then refused to wait even 15–20 minutes for me to arrive for delivery. Instead of showing basic customer courtesy, I was told that if I didn’t arrive immediately, they would leave and “keep the car,” which felt like a threat rather than a professional solution.

Because of this, I had to rush and was unable to pick up my father from the hospital on time — a situation no customer should be put in after already dealing with a delayed delivery.

This is not just about the carrier. This is about Montway’s responsibility for the companies they hire. If Montway represents these carriers, then Montway must also be accountable for their behavior, professionalism, and communication standards.

I expected coordination, professionalism, and customer care. I received none of that.

I strongly urge Montway to re-evaluate the carriers they contract with and the level of oversight they provide during deliveries.

They are really the best, the only complaint that the drivers didn’t keep the Monteway policy, pick up from door to door….but overall very satisfied transferring our car with Monteway.

I found this experience to be highly unprofessional and misleading. The company represented itself as a shipping company; however, it is actually a broker. I selected this organization based on email communications that indicated it was a direct shipping provider, which proved to be inaccurate.
Throughout the process, I was repeatedly reassigned to different drivers, each providing inconsistent pickup times. The company appeared professional only until the business was secured. Additionally, despite advertising a military discount on the USAA website, the company ultimately refused to honor it.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business to individuals who value their time, finances, and peace of mind.

Sent my wife’s car from Ocala FL to Palm Springs CA. Zero issues. Car arrived perfectly. Driver was super nice. We will use them again to ship it home.

First class auto transport service. Easy to book, make changes and pay. Communication from the driver was excellent and picked car up right in front of our house.
Drop off at our friend's house was the same excellent experience. I have used other auto transporters in the past and none even come close to the Montway auto transport experience.
I will use them again and recommend them to our friends.

HORRIBLE!!!! Beware!!!!
My car took 15 days to arrive. They couldn’t even tell me where my car was was for a period of 48 hours. The communication is extremely poor and don’t even try to speak to a supervisor. That won’t happen. The car was finally delivered with damage to the front, side and rear. The driver not Montway will accept blame and even fraudulently charged the digital bill of laden. If you use them- and I advise not to- take a screen shot of your bill of laden and don’t trust a thing they say. Horrible company!

MY 1500 Dodge 2010 Hemi 4 door Covered bed No marks or scratches ..Perfect condition 150KMiles A non speaking English person pulled up in front of my house with a white ford truck and long bed trailer ..tied down my Truck with 2 straps. DID not attach any form up front of trailer by wench ? White ford did not have DOT numbers on DOOR so i called Montway told them did not feel comfortable THEY SAID NO PROBLEM we know him ...OK ...GUTS were hurting cause i felt this was WRONG ...He drives away with my beautiful DODGE and Wrecked it 30 miles from my home ... NO ONE EVER TOLD ME ...there was no Ark Police report ..They called my SON in NC where the truck was headed. TOLD him had been in small wreck would need two new tires ...OK ..the owner of the business ROAD RANGERS with the white ford , called said they were delivering my wrecked truck to NC address ..OK MY SON called me and said MAMA they tore you truck UP . WHAT ...pulled the back axle out from under the truck twisted the bed tore the bed cover off pulled my running boards off so from the bed attaching to the truck to the trailer hits was a Wrecked mess. I cried when i landed and saw my TRUCK ...NO none not one PIECE of HELP from MONTWAY ..they said Not our problem Call your insurance co ...REALLY ...the ROAD RANGER drive said he was in the hospital NO information NEVER did get a straight answer ALL LIES. I found there Insurance CO in Maryland and THEY LIED said we dont insure them I Have a COPY of the INSURANCE policy on my computer ...there was the WHITE FORD insured by the Maryland INS co. I never ever learned how they tore the back end off my truck and never dented the front . Once suggested they pulled the truck off the trailer and wrecked it ?? so I will never KNOW !!!! MY GEICO insurance was so kind, gentle, and attentive to my disaster. Only help i got I paid for .

Having my car relocated/transported to Mesa, AZ was a great experience with Montway Auto Transport. Dates were set - prices were quoted and all in all a great experience. Car arrived two days early -

All phone or texts conversations were great - and the driver was very considerate om getting my car to me.
