Signed up whilst with my Santander business banking manager - I’m a retired Santander branch manager and have just started my first business!
The call to sign up with Chloe was straightforward and hood service but now you have my business the service is very poor and I have a number of issues already with Worldpay that I need dealing with urgently but trying to speak to a human is virtually impossible and on hold forever- while I have new customers waiting to pay by card !
Chloe who I spoke to originally, from the initial call from my Santander business banking manager promised via email to call me around 4pm last Friday 6th February at 4pm to assist me with setting my card payment terminal up - despite waiting for 1.5 hours until 5.30pm Chloe failed to call and hasn’t since and now ignores the 3 emails I have sent to her !?- you have my business now you’re ignoring me when I’m a new customer and have a new business- my boutique opened for the first time last Sunday 8th February and if it wasn’t for a colleague I would not have had my card payment terminal set up and working - I’ve requested to have my account details changed from my personal account ( Chloe took my personal account details in our first call in the interim as she stated until my new business account with Santander was agreed and opened which it was nearly 2 weeks ago ) - I’m now told I can’t just give you my new business account number over the phone ( why not when Chloe had no issue taking my personal account details over the phone during our initial call )- you’ve emailed me a form that you are insisting I complete to change my bank details to my new personal account but I have no way of printing this form from my phone and it will not allow me to complete it online !!??
Also I spent over an hour in the early hour’s yesterday ( my youngest son passed away suddenly in extremely tragic circumstances nearly 2 years ago and I still can’t sleep during the early hours so do admin etc at this time - writing this at 3.42am)!!- trying to access and complete my Compliance document- again s complete logistical nightmare- firstly the system keels refusing me access even though I know my user name and password it keeps saying I have to reset them - done this about 7 times now - eventually allowed me access to my Compliance document I spent an hour completing it only for your system to crash as I finished it and wouldn’t allow me to send - so I wasted another 1.5 hours of my precious time on another document for Worldpay that won’t send 😱- I’ve just attempted to complete the document again but just the same as yesterday it won’t allow me access - keeps instructing me to change my username and password which again I’ve attempted to do 7 times without success- I’ve literally NEVER encountered such a poor service now you have my business!!!!- your fees were not explained properly to me -I have nothing in writing confirming the fees applicable to my accounts with you and yesterday was the last resort - the shopping village my new boutique is located in changed their internet provider hence I had to change the internet connection on my card payment terminal- whilst a customer was waiting to pay by card for her purchases - she left unhappy because I could not access my card payment terminal - locked me out and I spent over 30 minutes on the phone to yourselves yet again - that’s when I eventually got to speak to a human - always automated voice when your call is answered- all I have asked is for a human - Chloe was supposed to but has failed to call me for a whole week now despite emailing me and promising to call me last Friday at 4pm she failed to - there’s no proper service now you have my business and as a retired Santander branch manager now just started my own business- I’m not happy at all with the service from Worldpay now you have my business- there is no personal service - takes forever to speak to a human then difficult to hear them properly and during one call with a male he cut my call off ‘failed security check’ - I was upset and furious- I know my own details and replied exactly the same during my next attempted call and the lady asked exactly the same security questions I answered exactly the same and she said she had no idea why your previous male ended the call abruptly - as you can tell my experience of poor service with Worldpay is a catalogue already and I’m a new customer and only set my card payment terminal up a week ago - no thanks to support from Chloe who promised to call me last Friday at 4pm but still hasn’t a week later or any of your so called support team - without a new colleague in another shop in the shopping village helping me to set up my payment terminal I wouldn’t even have my card payment terminal set up- I’ m in my earth 60s and need support with technology!!- no support from your customer service team !!!!- will not recommend Worldpay !

Worldpay is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most dishonest and incompetent credit card processing company I have ever dealt with. They don’t run a service; they run a trap.
They lure you in and immediately hammer you with an avalanche of hidden fees that were never mentioned during the onboarding process. They rely on deception to bleed your business dry from day one.
The cancellation process is a total nightmare. I had two accounts with them; closing the first one was a year-long battle of administrative incompetence. Now, they are holding my second account hostage, demanding a disgusting $495 "exit fee" just to stop their service.
They provide zero transparency, zero flexibility, and zero respect for their clients. They are experts at one thing only: extortionate fees.
DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH WORLDPAY. You will regret it. They make it impossible to leave and will rob you on the way out. You’ve been warned.

Dealt with a Kelly O'Connor. Usually switching from another service provider is quite a taxing experience. However it was all quite smoothly executed with all queries expertly explained. As a business honesty is very important to us and was appreciated. We're happy to be clients of Worldpay.

My experience is very bad, unfortunately. In November 2025, I looked for payment solution for my website, I found Worldpay, offering a range of card payments solutions. They contacted me, I signed the agreement, that says, that I will be charged fee after transactions. I was told that, I will get help with the installation of the software in my online shop. Nobody contacted me. Finally, I installed a different payment module and forgot about the Worldpay company. Last year, one year after last contact with someone from them, I started to get texts from them, stating that, I owe them £280 then even more. I got also an email saying, that because I didn't provide some information, they are going to charge me extra £30 fee. Recently, I even got an automatic voice call askig for a payment! I have never used their service, I have never even logged in to my account!! I sent multiple emails with screenshots from texts I got from them, there was no reply. I would like to request Worlpay to cancel my account. I'm going to contact a lawyer to get some help

Recurring problem with connection and unsatisfactory customer service. Took over 40 minutes to get hold of someone today. I’m trying to run a business and Worldpay is just causing problems. It’s been going on for 5 months with no solution, compensation or apology

The first question on trustpilot is what made your experience great 👍 well the answer is Laurenjane .I was lucky to have her as my first point of contact with worldpay as I hadn't got a clue about navigating the dashboard for my transactions and thanks to her parents and time I now have the confidence to navigate it myself.
