As much as I love Vox's occasional silliness and how he gets a little pathetic and stupid around Alastor, I'd hate it if the fandom completely woobified him. Character woobification in general is one of my pet peeves, when people turn one half of the ship into a simpering stupid crybaby and the other into this unbothered infallible person who barely tolerates them. It's glazing one character at the expense of the other, and it's such a disservice to a pairing.

Radiostatic is compelling because they are pretty evenly matched in a multitude of ways. Vox's weakness for Alastor is his flaw, not his entire personality. He is smart, calculated, charming, and pretty scary sometimes. Even in life, Vincent was competent and charismatic and knew how to twist things to his advantage - dude was a whole ass cult leader ffs

Like yes, mans got issues, an ego that blinds him and he loses his mind when things don't go his way, but he isn't completely dependent on Alastor, despite how obsessed he is with him.

Alastor likes to make fun of Vox, but he DID acknowledge and respect him before, exactly because he understood Vox's potential. And he had no doubt Vox would be able to accomplish what Al needed him for. That takes conviction and trust.

I'd love for Vox to be obsessed with Al forever, bc its just so good, but I think we need to see him get over Alastor in S3 (not fully, just a little bit lol) so Al can have his "wait this is not how it's supposed to go, actually I NEED HIM AROUND" moment

I need to know why Alastor did that to Vox because if it had anything to do with his deal then why didn't he just pick Vox up and walk to Rosie's and be like "Hello dear! I would like to keep this, if you please!" while Vox is awkwardly draped over Alastor's shoulder like "Hi? I don't know what's happening right now, to be honest."

And Rosie would see the Babygirl Unlimited that Alastor had snagged and would let Alastor keep him as long as he brought this cute sinner with him when they next had tea.

Vox doesn't need to understand what happened. Alastor can just tell him not to worry his pretty little head about it and Vox would glitch and overheat so badly he wouldn't question a thing.

I really do think Vox did everything in a bid to get Alastor to like him back (yes even that) and, the dramatic irony is we know everything is makeing him hate him more.

Its exactly like how sexist guys will be like "girls don't like me maybe I need to be worse maybe if I tell them to go back to the kitchen they'll like me" like no one likes that dude no one wants that fake alpha shit energy.
