I feel guilty for not reading as much as I used to when I was younger.
I feel like every book is begging to be read. To be experienced. That is its purpose, is it not? They want a companionship, even if only for the length of the read.
I read a lot more on my phone. So I’m still reading. But I feel like the physical books miss me. Any POSIC+ people feel the same?
No idea about the posic+ thing but THIS. I’ve bought a bunch of physical books with the purpose of reading them, and I feel bad that I haven’t, not because I’m procrastinating but because the books are just sitting there. I feel bad for the books that I’m not reading. How do I turn this off

DAY 4- ADVERSARY
I love when fiction makes the audience feel guilty about their role as the audience. When something fucked up is treated as a joke but later it's recognised how fucked up it was and the audience feels guilty for finding it funny. When a character breaks the fourth wall to plead for help, and you can't do anything so you just watch. And you know that the characters pain isn't real, but they're begging for help and you're not helping because their suffering is entertainment for you

it’s a laptop, we use them in every class (which is kinda dumb because why are we taking math tests online, we need paper for writing that shit out) but yeahhh ugh you’re not wrong…

Ngl Stressato (Stressed Papyrus) is kinda a test run for seeing how my OCs are perceived by people, and so far so good! People seem to like him. Thank you Undertale AU community, very cool
I’m not sure if I’ll post my main OCs on here much considering they’re from a novel I’m working on and I’m *terrified* of content theft since this is such a major project. I’ve been working on this book since September 2023 and it’s really important to me. I’ve been published a few times in short story magazines, and self published a novella on Amazon, but I’m hoping this will be my first full-length professionally published book. It’s a big deal to me and I don’t want to risk anything.
I’m also kinda scared of fandoms? Maybe it’s a bit egotistical of me to assume my OCs/book would have any sort of fanbase… but that would be cool! However, fanbases can be scary and I would hate for my writing to be misunderstood, watered-down, viewed with wrong intentions, etc. Creative writing is subjective and everyone takes away different meanings from a text, but it’s still nerve-wracking when people think differently about your character than you do.
Also shipping!!! Shipping wars are uncomfortable!! (Back to Stressato, I give permission to ship him with any non-Sans adult male character, but obviously I can’t control what people do with him. That’s another mildly scary thing, I guess.)
ANYWAY. All this is to say that Stressato is here to test the waters for how my OCs are received online, and so far I am really happy with the outcome, but I’m still scared to post more about my main OCs due to content theft, misunderstandings regarding their story, and shipping.

I was in a sewing class, we didn’t have any official assignments but there were specific skills we had to learn. I made so many plushies the teacher pulled me aside and told me to stop.
Got a quote about grit and determination, was assigned to write a persuasive essay about determination in media and what it means. Wrote like 2 pages about Undyne’s neutral route death. My teacher did not like it.
Was assigned to write a 5-7 page story about the solar eclipse featuring at least 2 locations and 3 characters. I wrote an Omori fanfic about Kel attacking Hero over a bunch of Oreos. A+ and I posted it to AO3 after.
Read a poem about a creepy landlady, had to analyze her as a character in an essay. I made my poor teacher read 2 pages about yanderes. To be fair, I think I made a very convincing argument.
Wrote my college essay about having DID. I didn’t know how to end it so I used a Beatles quote. Scored a perfect 50/50 on the assignment and got into every college I applied to.
In intro to theatre, we read a play in class. The assignment was to make a model of the set, with no knowledge of how the official one looked. I made it in Animal Crossing in like an hour and it looked better than almost everyone else’s.
My final for intro to rhetoric and essay writing was a research paper on a topic of our choice. I wrote 9 pages about why goats are really cool. I cited several behavioral experiments and studies, and also my own experience. The paper contained at least two photos of me petting goats as “personal research”. Got a 98% and a personal congratulations from the professor.

HIS NAME IS FUCKING PLUEY.
I replayed Adversary/Adverserial Fury yesterday with a friend and I remembered one reason why I love her so so much.
I felt worse denying her a fight than I felt slaying the Damsel. I deprived her of the one thing she loved, the one thing she was. I became a pacifist and lost what made her love me, and she can never get me back.
I wish I had the option to free Adversary and fight her outside so she could see the world, but I understand why I can’t. And anyway, not being able to free Adversary makes freeing the Fury after 30 trillion cells so much better.
