User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:99.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.0
Steps to reproduce:
Start the firefox snap (or flatpak) version on Ubuntu 22.04 in a wayland session and close your laptop to suspend. After a short period open it again to resume.
Tested with Firefox 98 and 99.
Actual results:
Firefox crashes after resume.
Ubuntu has ubuntu-dock activated on default, but this also happens with dash-to-panel.
If no extension is activated, it will not happen. It will also not happen in an X.org session.
Expected results:
Firefox not crashing.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Do you have a crash report from about:crashes
we could look at?
Since the report says something about scaling: I have 200% display scaling. If I set it to 100%, firefox does not crash.

Yeah, is there any chance that you could attach your about:support data to the bug, in case this is hardware-specific?
Also, is this really snap specific? (I use Wayland, but not via Snap / Flatpak, and never found such issue).
Does it reproduce with a binary from https://nightly.mozilla.org? Those should use Wayland when available. If so, can you paste a crash report from that? (the crash in comment 3 doesn't have proper symbols unfortunately)
Thank you.
There are also other crash reports linked inside my about-support file.
Seems to be fixed with the latest updates on Ubuntu. Don't know which update, but it was neither snap nor firefox. Probably gnome-shell beta -> final.
