Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:101.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/101.0

Steps to reproduce:

Launched firefox from the command line and from the "pinned" task manager button, with the taks manager configured to "group" windows with the same name.

Actual results:

With the snapified firefox, launching it from the command line confuses the task manager. An extra firefox icon appears in the task manager even if it should not. Once that has happened clicking on the (original, pinned) firefox icon on the task manager keeps opening new firefox windows rather than cycling through them.

I have tried the non snapified version of firefox from the dedicated Ubuntu PPA and it works fine. The issue is specific to the snapified firefox.

Expected results:

When clicking on the task manager button, the window manager should cycle through the open windows of firefox, unless one explicitly asks to "open a new window".

If a new window is opened, it should get grouped together with the other windows, so that one always has a single firefox button on the task manager, with a little "+" sign if there is more than a single window open.
