Print quality got worse, refund was a nightmare
After using the moustache ink in a brother inkvestment printer for about six months, the prints gradually started getting worse, to the point that nothing would print well. Even after spending hours running the printer's various cleaning routines many times, it didn't improve the print quality.
Upon requesting a refund, they gave me the runaround. After a few back-and-forths, they agreed to refund the ink if I sent it back. I did this a few days later, at the beginning of January, and the refund was supposed to be issued up to three days after they received the package.
A month and a half went by, and I saw nothing credited. I finally got back in touch with them and they said the refund was refused because it had been over a year, yet they didn't bother to get in touch with me.
They offered to send me replacement ink, even though I had stated from the beginning that I didn't want replacement ink, and they SAID they'd give a refund. They offered no solutions, so I asked if they could send a cheque or etransfer the refund. They said yes to etransfer, and that it would have to be sent to their financial department, saying they would keep me posted. That was on February 24th.
March 11th rolls around and I hadn't received an etransfer, so I asked again, and was told I would have it by end of day. Six days later, I email again, saying I haven't received anything, and I finally got the refund, three and a half months after they received the returned package. I eventually got the refund, but the entire experience was like pulling teeth; I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
