Fantastic Coffee
I've had their Plant Java - Brazilian Santos coffee beans on subscription for over 2 years and we still love them. I subscribe through Amazon and Beans have always been fresh.
I've still often try other beans from other roasters but I haven't found anything better, even at nearly double the price.

Don't bother to order coffee from this company. It's aweful, stale coffee, with no aroma, or crema.
All they do is to tell you their coffee is roasted every week.
Fabulous supplier with quality…
Fabulous supplier with quality products. I regularly use A1 coffee as a supplier of my cups, syrups and teas. They stock quality supplies for any barista to use, even one as remote as me in the Highlands of Scotland.
I placed an order on 4th September and…
I placed an order on 4th September and the order was shipped out the same day- great. I received a DPD notification that the order will be delivered on 5th September- great. Today is 11th September and nothing was delivered, checked tracking with DPD and it said ‘contact A1 coffee, your parcel can’t be delivered’ so I contacted A1. I received no reply so I tried the generic emails address and someone did get back to me within few hours.
- they do not track deliveries so unless customers advise them, they do not know if parcels are delivered
- the lady I emailed is on holiday hence I received no reply
- they have to wish until DPD returns the parcel to them before they send out a replacement
Ok I’m in business and there is so much to unpick here ..
Why didn’t the lady on holiday have an out of office installed?
Why isn’t the email account forwarded/monitored?
What kind of transport agreement do they have if their transport people do not feel compelled to advise a delivery was damaged and never delivered ?
Why does the customer have to wait until the parcel is returned when it was never delivered (would understand the company waiting if I was returning the parcel but I never received it so WHY would they not send a replacement out when DPD confirmed that the parcel was damaged?
The email was sent at 16:45 saying Good morning (???)
Such a bad customer service … and now I have to wait … if their communications channels are as proactive as my experience with them until now, it will be a long wait … bare that in mind before using this company.

We’ve been a customer of A1 Coffee for over a year now and that’s because their product range is exceptional, their delivery is super fast and we cannot fault their customer service.
Dreadful customer service
Been a wholesale coustemer for a few years now.
Unfortunately coustemer service today was so terrible I will never buy from them again.
Sent some ice drinks cups that I have bought from them a few times before.
This time the lids didn't fit the cups.
Instead of just sending them back.
They argued with me that I don't know how to use them.
I'm sure the guy in the office makes

Short shelf life tea leaves a bitter taste…
Was excited to use this company for our small self catering, mainly due to their range and being able to buy everything in the same place. Arrived fast, but on inspection, one box of clipper tea had 3 months best before date on it. These were stock for the year, but on contacting A1Coffee, they were unable to offer a solution other than us to pay for return postage, as they felt that anything over 30 days was acceptable, and that the BBE was only a guide in freshness and could still be enjoyed long after. This has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and as a result, I’ll reorder this product elsewhere and use another supplier with a better returns policy in the future.

I made an order next day delivery
I made an order next day delivery, from this company on Monday, today is Thursday and I did not receive any thing. I had to close my shop 2 days because they didn't deliver my coffee and my staff.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever.
Placed an order with expected next day delivery. I was informed it would be delivered on the 25th, it’s now the 29th. Spoke to Steven over email who is apparently the manager. All I asked for was a refund for the delivery charge, I had to ask twice and on both occasions my request was completely ignored and no response provided in regards to this. Rude, ignorant and sarcastic. Contacted them by phone to try and get a resolution and the staff are the same. No wonder being managed by him. Avoid. They do not value customers. Extremely disappointed with the service.
Update: Steven is the director, he has since emailed me saying “Dear angry customer” he’s contacting the courier to cancel my order and wishes me a fabulous day. Point blank the most rude and horrible “businessman” I’ve ever had dealings with.
Avoid like the plague.
