Absolutely amazing dentist o was looked after from the moment I walked in they were so grate to me I had 6 on 6 with barly no pain at all

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The clinic is extremely clean, modern, and well-organized. The doctors are highly professional, knowledgeable, and truly caring — they explain every step clearly and make you feel completely at ease.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and always smiling. I was impressed by the advanced technology and the high standards of hygiene. My treatment was painless and the results exceeded my expectations.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy dental clinic with excellent service and amazing results, I highly recommend Akdeniz Dental Clinic. Definitely one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had!

This review reflects my personal experience following extensive dental treatment at this clinic in Turkey. I had 20 crowns replaced and 26 new crowns fitted.

At the time of treatment, it was represented to me that the work was covered by a five-year guarantee.

Immediately after fitting, I was experiencing severe pain. I returned to the clinic, where a root canal was carried out through a newly placed crown. I travelled home the same day. Subsequently, I developed an infection in the roof of my mouth in the area of that treatment and required three courses of antibiotics. I continue to experience symptoms in that area.

The pain persisted. I experienced an incorrect bite, widespread tooth sensitivity, and ongoing facial and nerve-type pain, with my entire mouth and jaw aching.

Throughout this time, I kept the clinic informed of the bite issues, sensitivity affecting all teeth, and the nerve-type pain I was experiencing. After multiple communications, the clinic agreed for me to return and advised that any necessary remedial treatment would be covered, which I understood to be in line with the guarantee that had been explained to me.

During this visit, the clinic initially stated that they could not find anything wrong with my teeth or on xray and initially advised i just persevere. I explained that my whole mouth was in so much pain and discomfort that it could not be dismissed. I was then advised that the crowns would need to be removed in order to assess what was happening underneath. This was THEIR recommendation, made in response to the symptoms I had reported. I did not request this and found the prospect extremely distressing. As this is not an easy process to go through and for a second time in close succession. I was also was extremely worried about further damage to my teeth, but I knew I had little choice.

When crowns were removed, it was identified that multiple additional root canal treatments were required. At that stage, I was informed that further treatment would only proceed at additional cost, which differed from my understanding of the previously stated guarantee and assurances given before I travelled.

Following this, I was later informed that my reaction had been interpreted as aggresive. I do not agree with this. I was crying, upset and distressed by the pasituation but did not behave aggressively in any way, I could barely speak at this point.

After expressing dissatisfaction with my experience and being mislead. On return to hotel, I received messages stating that my actions were considered aggressive and defamatory. I do not believe these descriptions accurately reflect any of my behaviour.

During this period, I was unable to eat properly for approximately six weeks, experienced significant weight loss, and was in ongoing pain. The clinic later suggested that my concerns related primarily wanting a different shade of teeth, as I merely mentioned this, as at this stage i was even questioning in my mind whether i had the correct teeth fitted, and I disagree with there accusation.
I have contemporaneous messages and photographs shared with family and friends documenting my condition during this time and shared those with the clinic. In which there response made me feel devailided, belittled and insulted my integrity.

I felt I had little option but to undergo further treatment at additional personal cost. After returning to the UK, I continued to experience problems, including ongoing pain, further root canal treatment pain, suction issues with a bridge, bite problems, extreme dry mouth, and unusual sensations in the teeth.

I contacted the clinic to explain my ongoing situation and express disappointment at the lack of follow-up. I was advised that there are no guarantees with dental treatment and that any further work would be chargeable, which conflicted with my earlier understanding of a five-year guarantee. I was also told my case was considered isolated.

However. I travelled with two others that are experiencing issues and are requiring further root canal treatments, however, due to my treatment they felt unable or unwilling to contact clinic. Also one other that we met at hotel and kept in touch with has also returned to clinic to have 5 other root canals carried out. This does not seem so isolated after all.

When I requested copies of my dental records and scans, I was subsequently blocked from further communication channels. I was also advised that legal action might be taken if I discussed my experience publicly.

This experience has resulted in ongoing health issues and financial cost and ongoing issue to resolve. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision and consider seeking independent advice before undergoing complex dental treatment abroad.

I've just returned from Antalya and decided not to go ahead with the treatment at Akdeniz.
I felt the 20 minute 'consultation' with Dr Ali was impersonal, rushed and lacked empathy. Dr Ali communicated with me via Charlie, the translator. I got the impression Dr Ali was frustrated by my questions and I received vague/no answers. There was no consideration to my anxieties as a client prepared to have a surgical procedure. Especially when there are potential complications with bone loss as demonstrated on the x-ray.
We left the room and Charlie went to get my ‘treatment plan’ from the surgeon, which was basically a breakdown of the cost. He initially told me I had to pay £5,500 on this 1st visit - total cost £6,320. I then showed him the WhatsApp message from Akdeniz before my departure which clearly stated £3,000 for the first visit. When he returned the amount had been altered and the first payment was reduced to £3,360 which I didn't have. He said that was ok I could pay the balance with my card. I advised I did not have another £360 to spare. This meant that I could not have gone ahead with the procedure even if I wanted to.
Charlie then explained, after consulting with a dentist, that since I had severe bone loss, I may need to get temporary dentures as opposed to temporary teeth. There was no way of knowing what option was available until after the procedure had been carried out. I had asked Dr Ali earlier about the bone graft, and I was given a vague reply that left me in doubt. However, you cannot wear the dentures for between 2-6 weeks following surgery.
Since I would be back home, I was concerned about aftercare and when the right time would be to wear the dentures, and what to do if any problems arose with them. From this I believe that everyone should get an x-ray before flying to Turkey. Most people are fine and if you're happy being toothless for up to 6 weeks then go for it. It is good that the clinic explains this to clients prior to the procedure. Like I mentioned earlier, even if I wanted to go ahead, I didn’t have enough money to pay for the first visit.
Overall, the clinic is clean and well staffed, drinks are supplied, the drivers and staff overall are friendly. The communication prior to departure was swift - although the information regarding the quoted first payment nearly doubled. Personally, it was the initial 'consultation' with Dr Ali, who looked like he couldn't be bothered, glanced at this watch, meant it felt like a production line model with no empathy or reassurance for the client.

I came to akdeniz dental to have my teeth finished in may 2025. But 14 weeks later I found a crack in the palette, I got straight in touch with the clinic what advised me to come back out to have my mouth examined, on arrival to antalya I was picked up and brought to the clinic, my mouth was examined teeth were taken out and a brand new set were made within 48 hours. First class service, didn't have to pay for the new set, no problem was too much. Just want to thank everybody who works at the clinic, especially Charlie and senem, they were so kind and helpful.

Amazing service throughout my implants journey since day one! Fantastic, friendly team, very professional. Top class clinic! Highly recommend to all who wants a great smile and professional approach.

It is difficult to put into words how amazing this clinic is, from our fist communication they made us feel special. Both my wife and myself have now had all on 6 implants and are extremely happy with the results.

We were concerned that we may have difficulty with communication due to a language difference but, this was not the case as they have co-ordinators who speak very good English. Furkan the general manager welcomed us on each of our visits quickly put us at ease and our co-ordinators Charlie and Senem continued the great communication through to the end of our last visit.

All the staff really make an effort to make you feel welcome.

The treatment that my wife received has absolutely changed her life in so many ways, she now has so much more confidence.

If you are really looking for a first class service, this is the clinic for you.

These guys are at the top of their game.
They are highly trained to a fantastic level. My journey from beginning to end was amazing.
From the beginning chatting on wattsapp or messenger i chatted with Charlie & Senem these guys put me at ease. They awnsered all my questions when enquiring. I was terrified to go ahead with the process but charlie and Senem eased my worries. I eventually went over to Turkey i only had to book my flights and Akdeniz done the rest. They took care of my hotel and transfers. Everything was made so easy and comfortable which made me feel less nervous. I got picked up at the airport with Akediz driver Gokhan he took me & my partner to the hotel. I felt like a movie star as Akdeniz cars are beautiful inside. Fancy lights & leather seats. I was offered drinks and welcomed to Turkey. Contact each day was made by wattsapp what time i would be picked up for clinic and the drivers were always on time & they made you feel really comfortable each time. Tekin volkan & Abdullah. Absolutely lovely guys.
At the clinic Charlie and Senem translated anything and everything i needed to know.
There are specialist staff on hand for everything to the Xrays scans & surgery.
The clinic itself is spotless and very modern. Tea & coffee available and its a very relaxed vibe. No pressure at all.
I had all on 6 completed which also included bone graft as I had gum disease. So if you think you can't get treatment because of gum disease then think again. Akdeniz dental clinic Antalya sorted everything.
After my Xrays Dr Ali spoke to me and informed me what would be best for my situation. There was no hassle.
After the surgery which went well. I got my temporary teeth to go home with.
After 6 moths I returned back to Akdeniz clinic and everything again was taking care of.
I then met Dr Funda Ozen my smile designer who was fantastic such a beautiful lady her and CDT Murat the designer & head of the lab worked together to perfect my final result.
I then got what I had dreamed of for years my perfect smile and I was now able to eat and chew again.
Absolutely 💯% spot on clinic for anyone having doubts or trying to find a good honest clinic in turkey for implants.
These are the guys to go to.
I used to think I would never eat solid food or smile properly again.
Akdeiz changed all of that for the better.

It’s only now after returning to Antalya , and seeing another dentist, to have my teeth completely redone, that I realise what a bad job this company made of them, the teeth they gave me were too big for my mouth, too wide, too far forward and completely off bite , causing me months of discomfort. I will be truthful in the fact that I never complained directly to the dentist, as when I was there I don’t believe they actually listened to what I wanted anyway , so didn’t have the confidence to allow them to try to put them right, as nothing anyone there could say or do would make me return there, I will also admit that my husband had received excellent treatment there previously , so maybe it’s just pure bad luck on my behalf.

From initial contact right through to my final treatment I couldn’t be any happier with my treatment. The clinic is clean and modern and they cater for all nationalities with lovely interpreters that explain the whole treatment. The attention to detail was phenomenal and although I required sinus lifts they stuck to the original quote. Thank you Akdeniz for giving me my smile back and the ability to enjoy eating healthy foods again. I’ve just completed my first visit to Antalya Akdeniz Dental Clinic, and the whole experience has been absolutely first-class. From the initial online consultation to the clear and friendly communication with my clinical coordinator, Senem, everything was handled with care and professionalism. The clinic’s organisation and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and reassuring. A special word of thanks to Dr Merey, whose skill, calm manner, and genuine concern for patient comfort gave me complete confidence throughout the surgical procedure. The clinic facilities are spotless and modern, and every member of staff I met was kind, respectful, and highly competent. I couldn’t recommend them more highly to anyone considering implant or restorative dental treatment in Turkey.

Wow what can I say about Akdeniz clinic but absolutely fantastic
I came out on 21st sep to start my treatment , I was very nervous but they put me at ease from the geko , had a good first day talking about the treatment I needed , I had all my teeth taken out and implants put in , I had a bleed the next day which they sorted very quickly, I also asked to go back before I flew home to make sure every thing was ok and this wasn’t a problem at all ,
Since coming home Iv had nothing but complements about my temps even from people who went to other clinics saying my temps looked so much better then they had 😘
Im so grateful to all the staff for giving me a better smile even though it’s not my final teeth and can not wait to be able show the world my new smile when I come back

I came to Akdeniz Clinic in March to get my implants, and after four months I returned for my permanent smile.
The people here are truly angels on Earth.
I have never felt better in my life than when I was at this clinic. From the first day until the last, they were super professional and incredibly friendly.
There is no such thing as pain in this clinic. The only pain I experienced was the wait to go there again 🤩
