I would not recommend this service

My experience was extremely disappointing. Although the kick was approved, it took more than 12 hours to process the order. For an order of only €100, they required a video call, which felt excessive and unnecessary.

After waiting over 12 hours without any meaningful progress, they still withheld nearly 10% without providing a proper service. This approach feels unprofessional and misleading.

Overall, I would not recommend this service.

The fees applied are not a “withholding without service,” but standard transaction costs that are communicated in advance and necessary to provide our services securely and in compliance with regulations.

AVOID: Damaged Hardware Wallet & Support IGNORES customers

Received a BitBox02 Nova with damaged packaging (security risk!). Sent emails and WhatsApps with video proof. Support has IGNORED me for days. They refuse to send a return label. I am forced to initiate a chargeback with my bank. Order #52940. Do not trust them with security devices.

While you are entitled to return your order within the statutory withdrawal period, our warranty applies only to defects or damage to the product itself. The BitBox02 Nova and its internal packaging are intact, so the warranty does not cover the external shipping damage.

For your convenience, you can arrange the return directly with our web store using a prepaid return label for €10, which will be deducted from your refund. We hope this solution works for you and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Horrorible experience buying from the UK.

Horror buying from the UK.
I placed an order and transfered the money in Euro from my HSBC account, then I was bombarded with different kinds of verifications, asking for a photo of the card, then another small amount to verify that I own the account (The euro was sent under my name from my HSBC global money account).

Then they came up with different kind of excuses of why the payment didn't go through, OK, that's fine, I asked for a refund.

And the nightmare begins, first they told me they have already sent the refund, but a week later I checked with HSBC, HSBC said there is nothing, no transaction they can trace. So I went back to btcdirect asking for an explanation, and they told me they know nothing.

So where is my money guys? Can I get the issue resolved here?

As previously communicated, we have processed the refund on our side and provided you with the official proof of payment, including all transaction details needed for your bank to locate the refund. Once a refund has been sent, it must be traced by the receiving bank (HSBC) as only they can see incoming transfers on your account.

We kindly ask you to contact HSBC again with the reference details we supplied. With these details your bank will be able to retrieve the refund.

Support was great!

When things go as expected all service providers seem the same. It's when things don't go as expected that the good ones rise to the top. I've had some issues (mostly on my side) that made a transfer be canceled. The help I got was always spot on: complete, to the point and effective.
