Cannot be trusted , useless.

I would have rated less than one star if it was possible. It seems to me that this company is full of rogues, liars and thieves . Just before Christmas we were told that they’d try to deliver a parcel twice, they hadn’t , we waited in for it as we needed it urgently, a pram for my daughter in law’s expected baby , fortunately we don’t live far from one of their depots so I went and confronted a manager who contacted a Mohammed who then did what he was paid for and delivered it . Now we’ve been told that they’ve delivered a parcel to us ,which they didn’t, we were away and everything locked up so no one to deliver it to . Absolute bastards

Why can't they EVER do correctly ANY delivery? Why would ANY company rely on them?

Driver clearly could not be bothered getting to the 3rd floor (despite the lift) and left the parcel at a random door on ground floor.

I don't even blame the drivers. Delivery team managers and Site managers are responsible for the poor service.

Worst courier company

This is a bad company, they dont care about providing service. They just in it for money, one of their consultants just called me after I complained that I have been waiting for my parcels for two days.He told me that he can give me their warehouse address to go and collect my parcel because their drivers are too busy. I find it hard to understand Why Volpes is using this courier company to send online orders.

He said open your door I need a picture of delivery, I said oh you can take a picture of me here next to the door or can I sign for it , he said no open the door!! I got scared and closed the window, they gave me a stare and took the parcel and left . It was very uncomfortable

Incompetent driver

Apparently pressing an intercom button is far too advanced for some people, so instead the driver decided to stay in the van and snap a photo of the flat instead. Which I also doubt as it looks more like a screenshot from Google Street View than an actual delivery attempt by the driver. According to the update I got, they "missed me" and will attempt delivery again tomorrow. Trully, amazing, considering no one even tried ringing. A masterclass in how not to deliver a package... this is the kind of thing I'd expect from Yodl or Everi, not DPD.

DPD lies and does not attempt delivery

DPD have pretended 4 times to attempt delivery to my home address but each time never turned up (I don’t think they even tried at the first place) despite me calling on delivery number 2, 3, and 4 to ask for the driver to call me for me to give him directions to my house. Their useless App doesn’t allow to enter new post code, even though the post code are on the Royal Mail web site, so I cannot even enter a what3words location to help. Their customer service also pretends to pass the message to the driver to call to find my house but obviously don’t. How on earth are they still in business is beyond me! There is no point of having an App if people cannot enter address manually! They are basically making a point of not delivering to new builds because they aren’t on Google map so their system doesn’t recognise them when EVERY other courier finds my house perfectly!
This company should be sued and the staff sacked for not doing their job.

They lack customer service period

They lack customer service period. No communication from them. You have to call and find out yourself that there is a problem with your address. Second time now, tracking number was changed without notification. I don't know why would any business want to be associated with PDP

Unprofessional & bad customer service

The worst delivery company out there in my opinion, If I the otion -5 stars I would choose it. I recently upgraded my contract and I ordered a new phone which was supposed to be delivered by Dpd, the first day the phone was not delivered due to a pin failure which was my mistake. I called the customer service and since then the situation went chaotic. They assured me that the pin will change but it never changed ( I have screenshots taken from the app as a proof ), it stayed the same for 3 or 4 days. They delivered the phone again and witrhout the pin changing there was a failure again. I was calling the customer service explaining the that I am not there and if they can leave a instructions to the driver to deliver the parcel after a certain hour, their response was "it is not guaranted". The only option I had was to get the phone 5 days later, I refused because it was not my fault that they were not listening. At this point it was very simple, give instructions to the driver but nope! they are a huge company and they dont have that simple add on "instructions to the driver". In the end I lost the contract and the phone, and now I have to do evrything for the beginning and go to an actual store cause the Dpd is not good on delivering parcels. The customer service is just awefull either they were lying or they dont know how to do their job correctly , the application is bad as well. I will avoid Dpd from now on, I know that a complain like that will not change anything but I hope whoever reads this will understand how bad they are at delivering parcels

I WANT TO SEND A PARCEL - NO PRINTER

I want to send a parcel to france from UK.
DPD have a service that supplies the labels. I have tried 4 times following there procedure I have paid 4 times stil not possible.
There website shows this info :-
Send Parcel, No Printer
At DPD Online, we know convenience is important for your parcel delivery. That’s why we offer print-in-store availability for parcel drop off from just £3.99 exc VAT. Save time and money when you choose to print your DPD labels at your local drop off point.

It is not possible to speak to a person even though they publish several numbers, these only give out messages so one can not get any actual help, as far as \i am concerned it is a useless service unless you have a printer

Crappiest Service EVER

It appears as if we have lost our original delivery driver who was one of most pleasant people to deal with. We now have a new driver who appears to be totally devoid of any kind of common sense or how to interact with his fellow human beings. He has only delivered to us a few times and I hope to God that he doesn't come here again. He is infuriatingly rude, carrying on holding a personal conversation on his mobile whilst literally throwing the parcel at me without bothering to even acknowledge me. The other times he just dumped the parcels on the doorstep without knocking or letting us know that he is here and then, to top it all, leaves the gate swinging wide open even though there is a large sign on it saying: Dogs, please close the gate. This is totally unacceptable and we have now decided NOT to buy goods from sellers using DPD.

Knocking at my door to deliver other people’s packages

I’m not expecting any delivers yet the DPD driver consistently knocks on my door to try and deliver packages for other people I don’t know. He tells me their full name and their exact address and then asks me to accept the package cause it’s the neighbourly thing to do! I’ve sent emails asking for this practice to stop only to be told the driver is doing his job. I also complained about the breach of gdpr by giving names and addresses of people. Was told by DPD to not answer the door, problem solved!! Harassment isn’t strong enough of a word to Al describe how frustrating it is. I work from home and don’t need this crap. Boycott any companies that use them for delivery.

DPD NON-DELIVERY

As with other comments I concur DPD take no responsibility for inconvenience and distress caused by non-delivery, a company I recently purchased from used DPD to deliver items, I too received notice driver had tried to deliver but could not contact me, which is not true as I waited in for the delivery which never arrived.

I contacted DPD customer service to report non-delivery and to reschedule, three times call was cut off by staff I trying to speak with mid conversation.

I raised a formal complaint with DPD and notified company whose items DPD failed to deliver and how DPD treat customers of other companies, negative experience impacts on perception of their company

My complaint was not with driver but DPD customer care, I made this point clear.

I twice extended opportunity to DPD to show good faith and compensate for loss of time and distress caused, a simple good will gesture to reassure users of the service that DPD value both their and other companies valued customers.

The reply as here posted sums up DPD as a courier service.

Second Reply to Complaint

Good morning Mr ****,

Thanks for getting back to me.

My apologies again for all the trouble caused, as mentioned in my previous email, the given feedback regarding the driver and our Customer Services team has been logged internally. I trust this would have been addressed.

Mr *****, DPD does not offer any form of compensation. If you're unhappy with the way this matter has been handled you are within your rights to seek independent advice.

Please see this as my final response into this matter. Again sorry about this.

Kind regards,

S*****
