The whole process was simple and straight forward. I was kept informed throughout.
Provide clear straight forward path to acquiring shares on the secondary market. Responsive to questions as they arise.
Great platform to access private shares at lower entry points. I often get access to express deals at amazing valuations
The process to participate and complete an Express deal was simple, straightforward and completed faster than I expected. It might be useful to allow folks to search and filter based on the offering size. Like allow me to find all open deals under x dollar amount
Initially wanted SpaceX and allocated funds for the investment but EquityZen unable to fulfill. After a couple of months recalled the funds and was successful with Lambda. The process is straightforward but very slow. Time will tell but expect to get a great return on this.
I was told exactly what the on screen error message. No details were offered and I was left with nothing but to figure out myself. Total crap of an email from support.
Like the access but 5% on each transaction is very high. At least the exits should not cost fees that are this high

nice but took too long of a time to have the shares posted in my account.

This was my first purchase on the Equity Zen platform. Communication on when the purchase of the position was not clear once funded. A status update showing when the purchase would be executed after it was funded would be helpful

After using the funds for more then 2 months .
funds were return , no allotment of shares. waste of time and energy.

Most opportunities are good. I was disappointed when my six figure investment in Databricks was returned.

I have now done 4 different investments with Equity Zen, and i must admit they are the best amongst all the platforms in the US.
Special mention to Charlie and Sara for being absolutely brilliant, and in handholding us with all our investments.

After months, I was just advised that I would not receive the Ktaken' shares I tried to purchase. Money tied up, research, anticipation, etc; for nothing.

Meh. Pretty good company. I mean, they’re legit and they’re not a scam company, but they used to be soooo much better back in the day when they first got started and had more personal “one-on-one touch” with their customers. Now they’re essentially a faceless banking institutional robotic machine like Bank of America with more AI chatbots working there than humans. Also, they no longer have access to good private companies anymore… seems like all their good salespeople have moved on — the salespeople who used to be able to close good deals for the company.

Im an active investor on the site but no one responds to my emails.

It was easy transaction. Customer service was good , Razzi helped with filling out paperwork. Only thing is once you committ to a fund there is a chance you might get ROFR from comapny. Or equity gen dont raise enough funds to go thru. One thing i did not like is Once you committed you cannot back out but the Fund can.
