I was considering switching electricity provider when I encountered two Fortum salesman outside of Lidl who promised me with good prices at first and a few bonus. It seemed good and I didn't think there would be a problem with such a big company but then immediately felt wrong because they tried to add another service that cost additional monthly fees without my knowledge just before I sign the contract, they also didn't disclose that the original plan they tried to sell me cost a monthly fee ontop of what I will use and the price per kWh they offered to me verbally are different from what is written in the contract. They tried to hush me into signing it and didn't let me review the contract so I backed out. When I get home and looked up trustpilot I knew I dodged a bullet there. Beware!!!

Now they suddenly changed my private settings, from 2 months payment to 1 month payment...why on Earth did they do that? And I can't make a setting any more...they deleted every such option. That's unreal!

Stay away from this company if you can.
They try to send double invoices and then lack the possibility to reach out to customer services to deal with it. The money had been deducted from my bank but a week later they still said the invoice had not been paid.
If you see a Fortum worker on the street… give them a hug, they probably know they are doing an awful job.

Useless page - after quitting agreement 3 month ago, some "shadow" invoices for some agreement are coming in, without possibility of seeing what they are for.
Support personnel promised to send those to me when I spoke with support over phone (1.5h waiting time when calling from abroad, unacceptable!), yet support personnel never sent anything over email.
No invoice being received anywhere - contacting over formular on the web page i got answer that I need to pay additional amounts on already paid invoice and that no invoice is going to be sent to me, by email or any other means.
Mitt fortum automatically logs you out each 10-15 minutes.
Chat bot on Mitt Fortum never sends you to support personnel, although it is claiming that it does. I have tried clicking around the page for 1.5 hours to avoid being forcefully logged out without any warning message.
Worst experience ever!

Very rude salesman. Called three times. Hanged up twice. Hangs up right away if you ask him to talk slower and switch to English. Could have just said 'no i can't'. Doesn't seems to care what customers/prospects think.

Its the most expensive company in Sweden, beware. My bill last month was for approximately 750 kWh and cost me 3200 sek. I live in a 40kvm small house, never use my electrical lamps, cook my food in an airfryer. I use candles to save energy and use wood in my fireplace with a closed element in my living room.
Yesterday i changed company after they told me my bill for 750kwh would have been 1600 sek. This is a shame Fortum, you rip me off!!!!! Byyyyee forever!!!

Signed a electricity contract with Fortum few weeks back. Asked for hourly price contract. Phoned them many a time. Got different explanations. Told them we want to cancel which they newer did. Signed contract with another which Fortum blocked.

2. It seems as your current processing of invoices, at least to micro producers/customers has totally collapsed. Errors are legio and are not corrected, customer support does not know what is happening and there is no feed back when you contact them, even when they promise to call back.

- Got two calls with warnings that my new provider is in the black list of Konsumentverket and suggesting that I won’t want to switch. Honestly, if I were offered a discount for the next year as a loyal customer, that would have worked so much better!
- Had therefore to stay with them for half a month with the new prices and nobody agreed to compensate the difference, even though the mistake of not cancelling my contract was fully in their side.
- Customer Service gives different information depending on who you talk with (1) yes, we’re cancelling your contract, 2) sorry, it was actually impossible to cancel back then, my colleague made a mistake)

As a new customer with fortum I supposed to be treated good , all my imagination gone when I received an inkaso bill from fortum and I wondered who did something like this I always pay my bills on time and I was very sad because it’s my first fortum bill 150sek and without a reminder bill I received an inkaso bill .
That was crazy I didn’t receive a reminder 60sek and suddenly an inkaso bill 180sek , total 400 sek
I promise you that never ever suggest ur compnay to a friend or anybody , worst el bolag

In el than it costs in monthly rental. Kr3.300,!
And i cook and warm with wood burners!

It's already middle of September and i still didn't receive invoice for june-august.
And as i can see in app in June i used 12kwh while average consumption is 150kwh

Trying to change my contract into a timmscontract. emailed fortum 5 weeks ago, never got an answer. and before that, I had several times email contact about other things, answering time would be between 4 - 6 weeks. I had solar panels installed through Fortum, they produce 20% ! less than mentioned in the quote, I am trying to find out why and what to do about it, they simply ignore my emails. Taking this up now with a legal expert. Fortum?? Don't go there.
And guess what, a day after publication of my review I was contacted by Lovisa from client support with the question how she could help. I immediately responded, thinking I might finally get what I wanted. But guess what, a week has passed and I have never heard from Lovisa again. Can I please go lower than 1 star?
