Potentially Hockerty should be a 5-star. However, I've been nothing but frustrated and disappointed!
Their suits range from very reasonable to a bit pricey, but still reasonable for what you hope to be a high quality, custom suit.
My experience for a $700 suit:
Measurements - rather than take the AI suggested measurements after inputting height / weight, my wife and I carefully followed each measurement (video + visually matching with our fabric measuring tape). I feel like it was a dozen plus measurements. This sets the expectation that the suit "will fit perfect"
It was for a wedding and they did deliver on-time - about 12 days after order, I believe (ship to the US). I was very excited, expecting to look amazing in a new suit.
However, to say it "fit" is a mis-statement. While, technically I could put the suit on... I wouldn't try sitting or moving much, it fit VERY snug in almost every direction. Felt very much like an Asian cut / fitment rather than a typical American. Almost like buying skinny jeans when you should have bought regular cut or relaxed fit.
I opened a support case, very disappointed - a local seamstress said there just wasn't any feasible way to let out material and make it fit. Hockerty allows ~ $200 tailor fees if I recall for this resolution.
Customer Support recommended a suit re-make -- ship this one back (at my cost); re-measure everything; submit photos of current suit fitting; etc. Their commitment was "don't worry, this one will fit like a glove!"
I guess, the one being sent back fit like a glove, too ;-)
Anyways, shipped back - all the remeasuring, this time with the assistance of another adult along side my wife - all 3 of us agree on each measurement, double checking the video guides.
Have to scramble locally (retail) for a replacement suit - which I don't have time to alter, but it fits pretty good. I include the suit sizes (and comments it almost fits perfect off the shelf) as a guide or feedback in the comments with the new measurements.
Two weeks later, replacement suit arrives... and fits horrible (again). Not 'skinny jean' tight this time - but so bad, it hangs and looks horrible! Sleeves too long; parts still too snug while other parts too loose.
Being so very frustrated at this point I reach out to support again. Kindly ask for a refund, not only do I have zero confidence in their process or QA, etc - but the suit material feels so terribly cheap by comparison to the retail $300 suit. I mean there is no way, this 'custom' suit is just going to wear or travel well or last several years.
Supports resolution - let's measure again and remake again. Really? Such a wasteful process. I suggest a refund and we'll part ways - at least I won't be bitter. They explain to me that it's a custom fit suit and no method to resell, etc - so a refund doesn't make sense. However, making a 3rd suit does make sense? What do they do with the other 2 suits then? How about time and material 'wasted' to possibly get me to a suit that fits?
I reply that I'm not satisfied with this response and press on the refund again. No reply... week later, I reach out again -- still no reply. Another handful of days without anything, so I begin to dispute with my credit card company.
However, I don't know how confident I am about getting a refund from the credit card -- even if the product sold is different than expected, or doesn't fit or whatever -- it's custom clothing and call me a skeptic, but I'm presuming my money is gone.
So I feel compelled to share all this detail - IF (and I mean IF) you purchase from Hockerty... expect NO REFUNDS. Expect the possibility you may have to get it remade or significantly tailored after it arrives. And regardless of the photos and description of fabrics online, NOTHING beats being able to touch and feel fabrics in person!
If I ever do a custom suit again, it will be in person, seeing actual fabric samples - and letting them measure me. AND I will check about refund or satisfaction resolution more thoroughly. Wish I had researched Hockerty a lot more than I did.
the customer service I have recieved from Hockerty has been truly exceptional. From before ordering to after delivery, they have gone way beyond what I expected in terms of comunication and issue solving. Ordering a jacket and waistcoat online was somethig I went into with some trepidation but the quality, fit and speed of service has been incredibly impressive.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Hockerty and hope they have great success.

I received a suit that was far too big. Immediately, I took it to my tailor as my wedding is a few weeks away. Because the suit was far too big it would require cutting of almost all the components, including the shoulders which the tailor advised is not recommended as the suit will look awkward. Instead, they recommended a whole new suit. Immediately I reached out to Hockerty to express the urgency for a new suit as the wedding was a couple weeks away, and I would not be home for the following week. First off they take 72 hours to respond. The first time there is no level of urgency. You cannot get to a person on the phone. You cannot escalate your issue for an unusual circumstance like this. After they replied and 72 hours, they don’t send another email for 24 hours. So while I was expressing the urgency and expressing that every day counts, they would just take a day to respond. Secondly, their customer service is that of blaming the customer and not offering solutions. The customer service representative claims after several back-and-forth emails me expressing the urgency, that she cannot offer solution just yet until I send photos exactly how they want it and confirm measurements, even though the measurements are the exact ones that I sent originally per their tutorial video. On top of that a remake would not even be possible as their team is out on vacation due to the new year holiday. So the customer service reps stance that a solution cannot be offered to measurements are confirmed is a lie that that they are hiding behind to gain time. It is cleared by the images I originally provided to them that they suit looks like a little kid wearing his father suit. A suit remake would be required, but they know that that would not be possible as their staff is out on vacation. So instead, they will blame the customer to gain time.
If you have several months till your wedding, they are not a bad option. If you have less than eight weeks, I highly recommend you go in person to a different suit place. The difference in price is minor, but the stress is way less and you will feel much more appreciated.

I ordered a suit for my wedding and it arrived on time (but barely).
The measurements were not as sharp as I expected (since I input all my measurements) so I had to make several arrangements. Thankfully, it was bigger than expected and not shorter.
Still, the material is of good quality and the cuts are great.
I especially like that you can customize everything about the suit

I am really glad that I found Hockerty because I am really tall and it is impossible to find jeans or other type of pants with right measurements and Hockerty does it greatly.
The feature of designing my own clothes in web is really helpful, fast, reliable and there are lots of options.
The only thing that might worry some people is the making process, it takes almost whole month, but it is understandable and depends on location where you live also.
There is option to adjust the final product if you don't like something about it.
Prize is really good in my opinion, for that precision, material quality and stitching it is almost free.
I definitely come back again and make myself new fit.

Hockerty lives up to their promise of "perfect fit". I made a mistake on my order when I entered my measurements. My mistake, not theirs. Five pair of pants all made to the size I entered. They are making 5 new pair of pants for me and all i had to do was ship them back. I thought I was going to have to give them away and buy 5 new pair. You can trust their word.
