Did not stay on even though I followed all instructions I wouldn’t waste your money

Do not buy from this company. I cancelled my orders and subscription in December 2025, had confirmation of cancellation but February 26 had email stating delivery was on its way and they took out £29 from my account. Been advised I have to wait for delivery then have 14 days to return (at my own cost) and wait for my money to return to account. NOT HAPPY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 😕

On my first purchase I was very unsure if I could apply them correctly or if they would last. How wrong was I ! So easy to apply, lasted over two weeks and easy to remove too ! Saves a fortune on ‘shop’ nails ! Thank you.

I did everything to the instructions and my nails only stayed on for 12 hours. I even bought extra sets in advance

After reading reviews I thought I would give these a try, initially I was happy with product. Although the cable with the light worked intermittently.
After a few days the wraps began to split and lift. I tried a new set and same happened. My nails were thin, sore and bending.
Emailed HG and was asked to send a photo of nails which I did, no response so sent again, told to return everything at my cost and again requested photos… sent further emails and no response.
Really disappointed.

First time trying these wraps and honestly did not expect too much from them, but very surprised and delighted to say they do everything they say they will, easy to apply, easy to take off and they stay put and look good for weeks on end,,,ive worn my for around 9 days and only took them off as i fancied a change and believe me i put my hands through a hard week, in and out of water, car mechanics and sweating in the gym, these little beauties stayed in place and looked as good as the first day i put them on. and when it came to removing them ....so easy and no damage. just ordered another 5 pair. Well done holy gels !

I’ve tried quite a few brands of gel nail wraps now, including several sets from HolyGels. Unfortunately, my overall experience has been disappointing.

From the start, I found the quality inconsistent. The edges often snagged while filing, the sides crumpled easily, and many sets showed visible stretch marks. I also experienced frequent lifting, and in some cases the layers of the gel separated entirely, which made them difficult to apply neatly or wear for any length of time.

I did email the company a couple of times and was pleasantly surprised by their responsiveness - they seemed to care and provided replacements, which encouraged me to continue my subscription for a couple more months. Sadly, while a couple of sets were okay (lasting a few days and looking nice), most didn’t even meet that low bar.

I also tried their clear gel polish top coat in the hope it would seal the wraps better, but it didn’t help. I found the polish tricky to apply thinly and the wear was poor… even on bare nails or other varnishes, it began cracking and lifting within 24 hours.

It’s a real shame, as their customer service was responsive and designs like Rose Champagne are genuinely lovely. However, based on performance and longevity, I wouldn’t recommend HolyGels. I’ve had far better results with other brands.

I ordered the nails which I’m happy with but suddenly I’m in a subscription ! Got an email saying they were getting my order ready ( that I didn’t order) I cancelled it and a week later it’s on it way, not happy won’t be using them again. I had these trick tactics, tick if u don’t want a subscription hidden in small print be careful

Really happy with the ease , quality and cost of Holy Gels. Had last set in for 17 days, only changed as I fancies a new set. Very long wearing and easy to apply

I ordered nail wraps and entire kit for use over Christmas. After placing the order I noticed they were being sent to an old address. I immediately contacted customer services. Unfortunately it took them nearly 48 hours to reply by which time they had already been dispatched. Fortunately they use royal mail as their dispatcher so once I had tracking I diverted it to a post office (problem solved). When I used them I followed instructions to the letter but unfortunately within 24 hours they had mostly fallen off. I have used other brands before and never had this problem. Think I'll stick to good old amazon

Used for a while over a year, no problems, recently don't stick properly come off after 2 or 3 hours, don't last 2 or three weeks anymore, don't know what has changed but rubbish for around the past 3 or 4 sets applied. Would not recommend any more, might try a different company

Really good quick manicure, with plenty of colour choices. my first set lasted nearly 2 weeks and my nails underneath in good condition when removed. Quick delivery as well

These nail strips are brilliant, no nail damage last 2 weeks. Easy to apply and remove a large selection of nail strips available

I cannot get all the nails to stay on! I spent ages yesterday following all the recommendations what a faff! Just looked down and two nails are missing!

I’ve had a horrendous allergic reaction to the nails. On their website they say 100% refund policy if you are not happy, but upon trying to return them they want to deduct 15% from the refund? I’ve sent 3 emails today asking for clarification on this without response.

I finally got an email saying I was getting a refund, nothing in my account yet. Also since taking them off my nails have been like paper, splitting and bending back. Not a good experience.

I love the idea but 1) it should be more clear that if you have short weak nails - the gels will only cover that much. Secondly - half the gels were too broad for my fingers, and thirdly I just couldnt get them to stay on - even after watching helpful videos & prepping just like was suggested. They look really pretty but if you are outdoorsy like me, with brittle, weak pretty unattractive nails - they may not work. Absokutely lovely idea & clearly works for many ladies. Just not for me :(

The colours are lovely and not too bad to apply. Downside is the nails don't fit! So 3 stars because it's a nice product but needs improvement.

I opted for these after developing a sensitivity to salon acrylics and gels. They seemed fine for a short while and I enjoyed having beautiful nails again. However, a reaction occurred which was only resolved by removing the nails.I've even tried again since initial reaction but with the same result.

Started well but quality has gone right down in the last couple of months. They drop off the day you put them on now.
Complained and don't hear back, a pity as when I first started they were really good.
