Even though I was not a mainstream user - Linux on headless installation - Internxt team kept working on my issues until they were resolved
I have been working(most of the time as CEO) with fiber-to-home and fiber-to-business solutions since 1995, so I have extensive experience with digital tools and cloud services. In my professional opinion, Internxt is a reliable and secure platform.
Security and privacy are very important to me, and Internxt provides strong protection and encryption. The service works smoothly, and I feel confident storing my files there.
I would also like to thank Nathan from customer service for helping me upgrade to the full 100TB plan. Initially, I was not able to purchase more storage, but he resolved the issue in less than 30 minutes. Excellent support!

The customer service and technical support are horrible. I’ve reached out multiple times and have never received a response. File syncing is incredibly slow or just straight-up doesn't work—neither on the web nor through the Windows app. It’s a disappointing service, especially since I paid for a premium subscription and they market themselves as a premium provider. I don’t recommend it at all.
I canceled my Subscription but didn't get my money back. After many Mails they try to get me back instead of giving me my money. After I canceled the subscription, i lost the features and the money. Still waiting.

well... i changed from dropbox to go to a european provider, but I am sad to say the syncing feels verry flimsy, its not clear when files are on the hd and how long it will take to download, and worse, after not being able to log in I had to change my password and since all files that i had put on the disk are gone, it feels verry unsafe. its sad because many of my collegues where about to swithch. make it solid!

Bought 2tb lifetime direct from internxt website many years ago understand that I would get all future updates to only the drive at that time. But now I try to use rclone with my account and it declined. I've spoke with support an they will not give me access even if I should be grandfathered in to this new feature to drive. find a different storage provider, you'll be mich happier and won't switch up on you.
IMPORTANT: The only reason I'm giving 3 stars at this point is because this is all new to me; this is not a long term review. It drives me nuts when I see people giving a product 5 stars when they have barely (or never) used it. So don't read 3 stars as low quality - it just means I'm not sure yet.
* Positives *
- This is not a US company; it is firmly European. As a British subject, this is an *enormous* positive. The US can no longer be trusted over anything at all, including respect for GDPR and regional data protection laws. If a US company holds your data in a European data centre beware; there is now nothing stopping them from just taking the data. The law will not protect you because the US now ignores all laws. Internxt has no US ties as far as I can see, and is in Spain - genuinely trusted allies of the UK. So I can sleep at night knowing my data really is secure.
- The encryption has been thought through and gives me further peace of mind. Also, it has full encryption in transit and at rest, something my previous (very famous) US-owned cloud service didn't provide except as a 'vault'.
- It works seamlessly across Android and Linux (which are arguably cousins of course). I did try it briefly on Windows before I ditched that O/S for good, and it worked fine there also.

I'm not listing these as negative because my jury is still out.
- Capturing document scans directly to the target folder is something I haven't had time to nail down yet as a technique. I just need to adjust to a new way of working.
- Logging in doesn't seem as quick and easy as my previous cloud service. But, again, this might just be me.

I have contacted your tech support three times over two weeks (ish) about critical issues (files and sometimes entire drive inaccessible, uploads cut off midway through by inexplicable page reloading, partial uploads being a huge pain to clean up after, etc.) and gotten no response at all. I have requested a refund and termination of my account, but again, I can't seem to get a hold of anyone.

By far the worst company I have ever dealt in my entire life... I didn't receive what I paid for and now will they respond to emails. I highly recommend using an alternate cloud based company.
Bought a 2TB Lifetime plan in Dec 2024 specifically for WebDAV support – it was advertised as included. One year later they locked me out, claiming "infrastructure changes" now require a €500+ "Ultimate" upgrade. Support offered a "90% discount" as if paying twice for the same feature is a favor. Classic bait-and-switch. Migrating to Filen – same features, honest pricing. Avoid.
I am a rather new customer but so far I have an excellent experience with Internxt, both on the service itself and the customer service too.
Could not be better.

I have spent almost $1000 on a 100TB account that doesn’t work. I installed the synchronization software and always get an error. I have tried completely reinstalling it, and I have also tried running the app as administrator (even though my user is already an administrator), but nothing seems to work and I can’t use it on either of my two computers. I have tried contacting support, but no one responds to my emails. Clearly, I have been scammed, and the Internxt product is delivered without any guarantees. I just threw away almost $1000 because this is the worst support service I have seen in years.
I have asked for a refund, but no one wants to give me my money back even though Internxt doesn’t work on my computers. Is this good professional responsibility service? I would not buy it again and cannot recommend it without the risk of losing money.
It's a service where not even half of what they promise works. I spent several weeks trying to get my money back.

Is Internxt to be trusted with your money/data?
Consider these -
1) They DON'T honor the terms of your subscriptions;
2) It's IMPRACTICAL to utilize the TB you subscribe to;
3) Customer service is POOR; and
4) Negative comments on Internxt's subreddit are heavily CENSORED and habitually REMOVED.
Terms of Subscription NOT Honored

Internxt habitually removes features provided for under existing plans to force subscribers to upgrade at additional costs.
The latest example is the unilateral removal of access to "CLI, WebDav & Rclone support" from Premium Lifetime plan subscribers who signed up before September 2025 despite their pricing page specifically itemizing such as entitlements.
Evidence of this can be found on Wayback Machine's archives of Internxt's Pricing webpage for July 17, 2025 and August 17, 2025.
It's only from September 2025 that "CLI, WebDav & Rclone support" ceased to be offered to Premium Lifetime plan subscribers although that remains an entitlement under Ulitmate plans as you can see from this archived Pricing page from September 7, 2025.
I would also point out that the phrasing for level of access to "CLI, WebDav & Rclone support" under both Premium Lifetime and Ultimate plans are identical as you can see from the archived Pricing webpages.
In early February 2025, Internxt unilaterally removed all access to CLI, WebDAV and Rclone from legacy Premium Lifetime plan subscribers, including those who signed up before September 2025 when these were part of the stipulated plan entitlements.
Affected subscribers who contacted Internxt customer service at hello [at] internxt [dot] com were told unequivocally that...
"these tools now rely on dedicated infrastructure and generate ongoing operational and maintenance costs that can only be sustainably supported within the Ultimate plan. Because of this infrastructure change, it’s no longer technically or operationally possible to keep CLI, WebDAV, or Rclone access active on non-Ultimate plans."
It is unclear whether their decision to unilaterally remove access to these features covered by their legacy Premium Lifetime plans or their boilerplate response were vetted by their Legal Counsel.
Consequently, there were an increasing number of posts and comments on Internxt's subreddit, complaining about the removal of these entitlements but many of these were censored quickly by the moderator(s) there.
On Saturday, February 7, Internxt finally climbed down and agreed to restore access to CLI, WebDAV for Rclone but still insists the latest native Rclone support will ONLY be accessible to Ultimate plan subscribers, despite the phrasing of "CLI, WebDAV & Rclone support" being identical for both the legacy Premium Lifetime and Ultimate plans.
In practice, this "restoration" is meaningless because CLI/WebDAV has never really been truly functional with Rclone. There is also no telling whether even this level of access would be removed, yet again, some day because Internxt's stance is that the "restoration" is merely a goodwill gesture and NOT in recognition of the terms and conditions of the legacy Premium Lifetime plan.
IMPRACTICAL to Utilize the TB You Subscribe To

Not only does Internxt impose various limits on file size and number files that can be uploaded, many have reported slow upload speed, likely due to throttle. Especially when using (non-native) Rclone with CLI/WebDAV, upload speed often averages in the low double-digits kb/s, notwithstanding the various errors, making it impractical for production.
The desktop app also doesn't fare much better in terms of reliability and speed as reported by many. You also can't selectively sync files or folder, let alone block-level synchronization.
If you are a more advanced user, it is likely you will struggle to fully utilize the storage you subscribe to, given these limitations.
Customer Service is POOR

If you ever have problems and try to email hello [at] internxt [dot] com, you will always receive an automated placeholder acknowledgement but may NOT hear from them again despite follow-up emails, as many have reported. When they do respond, don't expect they would adequately address your concerns - while not uncommon, this speaks volumes about their level of customer service.
With the latest development, it's difficult to have any more faith in Internxt. I, like some, will be reporting them to the regulators and working with my credit card company for chargeback.
