The agent organized our trip according to our request to balance scheduled activities with open periods to explore on our own. It was the perfect itinerary for us. We highly recommend spending a few hours on private tour with a guide, it was one of the highlights of our trip and appreciate the agent recommending it to us.

Had a thoroughly delightful visit to Kenya arranged in detail by Kensington's Patricia Lalonde.
The occasion was the 80th birthday celebration for my aunt.

Our itinerary was a loop, Nairobi, fly to Samburu, then fly to Ol Pejeta and finally drive back to Nairobi.
The arrangements all worked flawlessly, from the initial airport pickup to the final departure.

The accomodations were excellent throughout, the Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi, old style comfort, Sasaab at Samburu, a spectacular setting with excellent cuisine and really superbly equipped individual 'tents', River Camp at Ol Pejeta, wonderful night sky with outdoor fire, fine individual 'tents' and excellent cuisine, Giraffe Manor a lovely building and grounds, dominated by confident giraffes shamelessly seeking hand fed snacks...

The Kensington people really made the trip, multilingual, professional and always helpful.
We particularly appreciated the wider range of skills of our drivers, not only finding and spotting the leopards, cheetas and elephant families, but also identifying the manifold birds and plants of the region, as well as guiding our visits to the local villages.

We appreciated the people most of all. Their youthful hustle is everywhere, whether booming construction in Nairobi or expanding goat herds in Samburu. Their society appears open to all, so they all strive.
We totally enjoyed our visit.

The trip was simply amazing! We enjoyed learning about the culture, the history and about the religions of India. We had a perfect mix of tours and activities. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Thank you Kensington for making this so special for us.

We were picked up at every airport, delivered to our hotel, picked up for tours and dropped off back and finally transported to the airport/rail station to get us onto our next leg of our journey. We felt spoiled. It made getting around for a couple of seniors on our first visit to a location so much less stressful. On the few occasions where we switched things up, contacts were readily available to tweak our schedule.

I love Kensington Tours. We spent a month between Australia and New Zealand. Every last detailed is planned and paid for in advance. We literally got off the plane and a driver was waiting to take us to our hotel. Every tour was well thought out with excellent guides and amazing days. We loved all of our stops and wish we had at least another 2 days in every location. Our days were filled with fun filled site seeing tours! We did not stop for a single moment—just the way we like it. However, we had a couple of down days that helped us plan other things we found while in the area and days to just wander!

Trip of a lifetime-Kensington continues to provide us with amazing travel memories- we had previously toured with them in Rome, Italy and Turkey- this time we toured Mumbai and the Golden Triangle/ Agra , Jaipur and Delhi - ever thing was so wonderful- we had an excellent driver- for the golden triangle- Vishnu Kashyak -you have to be patient and know your roads in India- he was very safe and got us to our designations and when we were ready for pickup at the various sites- he was on time and found us quickly. The guides in each of our location- knew the information about the sites – they provided us excellent history and showed us the culture of this great country – and we even got to sample various street foods in a couple of the cities which was very yummy. We wish we could remember all the guides names- they were the best! We stayed at luxury hotels which were indeed- we had beautiful rooms and views- The Taj Mahal Palace/Mumbai, Oberoi Amarvilas/ Agra, Sawai Man Mahal/Jaipur and The Imperial/Delhi - The food in India is so good- we ate at the restaurant in each of the hotel properties and enjoyed the Indian Cuisine - there were so many special moments on our tour of India and we highly recommend using Kensington for your touring needs. In our trip planning Dev Jai the India contact answered quickly any questions we had and was very helpful. Thank you Kensington -another wonderful travel experience.

Kensington planned our 5-week trip to Australia and New Zealand. Every ride, transfer, plane tickets, and the many activities we did over the 5 weeks. Everything was perfect and amazing. Thank you so much for all your hard work. This was a trip of a lifetime, and it was made super easy thanks to Kensington. I highly recommend their service.

Unfortunately, we did not get the name of the sweet lady and driver who met us at Heathrow London airport and took us to our hotel and helped us check in. She and her driver were the kindest, sweetest people who offered much assistance and answered many questions for us.
Lastly, we can’t forget John who took us around London for a walking tour. He was fun and knowledgeable of the city and added many extras that made it even more enjoyable.
We will most definitely recommend you (we have already) to others and will work with you and Kensington again on our next excursion, which we are in the talking, planning phases now.

The pre-planning, working with our agent, Mayra, all made for a smooth experience during our time in Iceland. Also, a lot of luck in that we were not only able to experience the northern lights on our first night, but that we were also there for the strongest solar storm in over 20 years and then had a third night of lights. Our goal was to see the northern lights, the rest of our tour was the gravy. It all came together for an experience we will not forget.

My daughter worked with Kensington Tours hoping to provide my wife ( who has mobility issues) and myself with a great experience in Mexico City. It was badly done by Kensington and their Mexican partners.
We were supposed to to be collected on arrival by a guide and an English speaking driver. We went over where we would arrive with the Kensington Representative. But when we arrived, there was NO ONE to great us. Both my wife and I, who neither speak English and are in our early eighties, were upset.was trying to arrange a taxi to the hotel when a man showed up with a sign for a daughter of mine. He was the driver. He spoke four words of English; “Me no speak English”. He showed me his phone where it told him to go the wrong terminal
So, even though our detailed plan showed we were arriving on our AeroMexico flight, he went to the other terminal where International AeroMexico does not serve. No guide was with him. We drove in silence.
The next day we met our guide, who said she was free to pick us up the day before but her agency told her not to go. I tried to call Kensington(they said they always had someone available) but there was no one to talk to as their manager was not in.
That night (and according to our detailed plan) we were supposed to have dinner at a Michelin starred. We were taken to a poor restaurant instead. Again, no one could be reached. We paid a substantial sum to have Kensington Tours plan our trip and they let us down completely. They have not offered ant recompense.

Kensington Travel planned an unforgettable journey for me and my wife through Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the level of care, expertise, and attention to detail that went into every part of the trip. Erika was our travel expert and set up the best family experience over Christmas on 3.5 weeks notice. Her knowledge of Peru and machu picchu made the trip amazing. Having a guide and driver was essential. We never felt unsafe. All accommodations were great. So nice having someone else buy all the tickets we needed. It was lovely just showing up in the hotel lobby and having all the details taken care of with curated sites to visit. It was great also having them plan our travel domesticaly. They would check us into our flights and have bag tags ready for our luggage before we got to the airport.

Well worth the money. Will definitely travel with them again.

We have done 3 extensive trips with Kensington Tours. Madagascar, Japan and Vietnam-Cambodia-Thailand. Just booked a 4th to New Zealand in January 2027.

Kensington Tours is truly excellent. Exceptional. Each trip with KT has been masterfully planned and executed. KT’s destination expert worked with us to plan the itinerary. With these 3 destinations we needed expert guidance on how to best spend our 3 weeks. WOW! All of the main tourist sights were covered. More special were the surprise destinations. We had never heard of Kanazawa or Takayama, Japan. They were absolute highlights of our trip. In Ho Chi Minh City they lined up an evening food tour on motorbikes. 7 years later, we’re still in regular touch with our beloved Madagascar guide. KT’strip planners have a wide-ranging, creative repertoire.

Travel logistics are, for us, the biggest stresser in travel. Making plane and train connections, figuring out how to find the hotel or sightseeing destination, is the hardest part. KT plans all travel logistics -and manages them smoothly… friendly and stress free. When you arrive in a new city, they meet you, transport you to your hotel. Guides pick you up and return you to your hotel for daily tours. When moving to the next city they transport you to the train station, airport, ferry, etc. and make sure you’re in the right seat. You’re met at the next destination…and so on.

Our trips have been individual excursions. We have traveled with KT as a couple and as a pair of couples. We don’t love touring around in big busses. Generally, when on tours there is a driver, who frees up the guide so he/she can focus entirely on guiding. KT’s local guides have been almost universally knowledgeable and overall great.

We just returned from an unforgettable week in Iceland, a trip that was one of the most magical travel experiences we’ve ever had. We enjoyed soaking in the blue lagoon, seeing beautiful green northern lights nightly, Visiting art and science museums, incredible pastries and coffee shops, Snæfellsnes Peninsula, and dinner at a horse farm. At the Golden Circle tour, we snowmobiled across Iceland’s second‑largest glacier. We learned about geothermal energy, geysers, black sand beaches, glacial rivers, and how Icelanders heat their homes with steam from the earth. We saw many waterfalls, black sand beaches, the President’s House, and Hallgrimskirkja Church. We went to the hot springs in Hvammsvik and saw northern lights by yacht.

The entire itinerary was curated by Kimberly at Kensington and all communication was via email at times convenient for me. Tours were private or very small groups, enabling personalized experiences. The hotel was perfectly situated for everything. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this trip and Kimberly with Kensington.

We have used Kensington three times and each time they have done an excellent job planning a trip that meets our needs. With skilled guides and drivers, they make the trip simple and enjoyable.

I have been to NZ and originally laid out some ideas with Emma - she took them and ran with it and planned an amazing honeymoon for my clients that balanced a few days of rest with some very unique experiences. Bouncing from north to south island was managed well and clients came back very happy!

My trip to Africa was perfect because of Celeste at Kensington. We had to delay our trip from October to January because of a surgery. Then in January, our itinerary had to be changed due to massive flooding in the Northeast of South Africa. Instead we were sent to the Northwest for our safari. It was absolutely spectacular. Our week in the BVI aboard the Gyrfalcon was truly the trip of a lifetime. This was our first time ever chartering a boat, and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment we stepped onboard, everything exceeded our expectations in every way.

Captain Syl was exceptional—professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun—making us feel completely at ease while showing us the very best of the islands. Mafalda, our first mate, kept the vibes high and the drinks flowing (hands down some of the best cocktails we have ever had). And Elena… wow. Every single meal and snack was creative, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. We’re still talking about the food.

The Gyrfalcon itself was immaculate, comfortable, and incredibly accommodating, but it was the crew that made this experience unforgettable. Their attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care turned an amazing trip into something truly special.

We know future trips will be hard-pressed to ever compare—this set the bar impossibly high. If you’re considering a charter in the BVI, look no further. This experience was flawless from start to finish, and we’ll cherish it forever.
