Very annoying process, there is no reason to have to connect your bank in open banking for verification. I detest this fully and feel this is an over reach for a verification step.

The process is extremely intrusive. It wants access to your bank transactions, your tax returns ect.. What happened to providing a p60 and bank statement.

It's hard work and if you don't have an account with HMRC it takes ages especially if you are not good with computers.
