Terrible experience with Saniweb

Terrible experience with Saniweb. Ordered a Grohe Showerhead Smart Control set, and it arrived with clear damage on it, with someone trying to fit it before but failed.
Our plumber confirmed this is the case with marks all over. Tried speaking with Saniweb, and mind you this is 1 day after I received the product and got the plumber installing it.

We then saw after installing the damage on it. Saniweb would not send me a new product even they did sell it as it was already "installed" and warranty kicks in. Pointed me to speak with Grohe. In the end we had to get a Grohe engineer to come a replaced the parts, however Saniweb to stand their ground that they dont sell used products is proper B****S**T!

I dont know what law they think they live under but this is a terrible company. Don't be fooled by their cheaper prices. Order elsewhere! Even the Grohe engineer mentioned that they get these issues and complaints on Saniweb ALL THE TIME.

Incorrect advice and no flexibility from Saniweb - great Quooker

In summary:
> The product itself is excellent.
> Saniweb’s customer service is not. They showed no flexibility, gave inaccurate guidance, and prioritised selling us another product rather than helping us find a solution.
> We won’t be trusting Saniweb again – especially not for Quooker products.

We are renovating our kitchen and ordered a Quooker Combi Plus from Saniweb. Delivery was fast, and the product arrived in excellent condition.

Unfortunately, we later realised that we only needed the Combi boiler as we opened the package a few weeks into the renovation, when we needed to install the boiler. We contacted Saniweb 35 days after purchase – just a few days outside their 30-day return window – to ask for an exchange. The product had never been installed or used, was still in its original packaging (with all protective wrapping intact), and only had some dust. We explained this clearly and asked if we could swap it for the Combi, which costs the same.

Saniweb refused. They said it could not be returned because it was outside the 30 days and because of dust – which is a weak justification given the item was unused, undamaged, and in perfect condition. On top of that, they incorrectly told us the Combi Plus could not be adapted for use as a Combi, and their only “solution” was for us to buy another boiler (approximately € 800). This was very disappointing, as we were simply trying to work with them in good faith.

We then contacted Quooker directly, and their technical team immediately confirmed that the Combi Plus can indeed be used as a Combi with just a small adjustment. No new purchase was necessary. In other words, Saniweb not only refused a reasonable return but also gave us wrong technical advice – advice that, if followed, would have cost us hundreds of euros unnecessarily.

We have looked at the photos you sent, but that is not how we sent the product to you. Our return conditions are that the item must be in the same condition as we sent it to the customer. The item was full of dirt.

That is why we cannot accept your return. You may be able to resell it yourself through an external party.

Follow up service no good!!!

Follow up service for online order can be definitely better.
Only when the order placed, received confirmation right away, but item not delivered on time, no update nor notification of (delayed) delivery/ track & trace info.
Had to call twice to chase after the item myself and only a week later than the agreed date, finally got the item.
Utterly disappointing experience.
Not to mention the inconvenience due to the delay among which having had to cancel & rearrange the handyman for the mounting.

Not recommended! Delivery issues! No refund!

Not recommended!
We bought a bathtub. They charged us 79€ to deliver to the second floor, while they delivered in front of the door and said we don’t have people to bring it up. When asking for return of money, customer service hang up the phone :)
They even didn’t accept to take responsibility to check if the bathtub is cracked, because it was not correctly delivered! Yes! Insane and funny. Finally we had to call police, and two nice police officers carried the bath on top (they did the job we paid Saniweb to do). They made a deal with the company, maybe they had to pay a penalty or not (I don’t know).
But the company is not trustworthy for ordering important, expensive or sensitive things. BTW the quality of bathtub is aweful, I wish I could add photos of its body. But we know if we return, there will be no refund. They like to keep the money when they have it. Lesson learned: pay by credit card! So, you can defend your rights when you have to deal with untrustworthy online shops like Saniweb.

Delivery time was respected (due between 6:45 and 7:00AM, the van arrived at my place at 6:50! )

Do not buy this product/anything from this company

Do not buy this product, or any product from saniweb unless you like wasting your money. This was a nightmare from start to finish.
The dimensions were supposed to be 80x80x200, but when we put it in (including with the extender) it was only 77cm. Thus making the entire frame too small, including the glass doors. My contractor did his best to make it work, but it looks horrible. I contacted saniweb with the multiple issues (frame too small, doors too small, missing pieces) and asked for a new shower cabin, with the correct measurements but saniweb refuses to take responsibility and instead is trying to blame my contractor- who does this for a living and install 1-2 of these a day. This is HORRIBLE customer service. Now I am stuck with a shower that doesn’t close properly and will have to buy another one (not from this company) and pay for it to be installed again.

On top of that, important pieces that were supposed to be included in this order were not and I am still waiting for them (one week later).

Honestly, save your money and buy from any other company. I promise this is not worth your money as you will have to pay double to fix it.

Their only solution was to offer me a 10% discount on a new cabin which is joke.

If I could add pictures of their delivery promises in email (which weren’t fulfilled) or the pictures of my faulty shower cabin, I would.

However, in this story the installation manual was not followed or not followed correctly. Every shower cabin has adjustment dimensions, which is also clearly indicated on the website in the product specifications.

Missing delivery item

Missing delivery item - no answer from customer service.

Only one part of the shower cabin was delivered (90x200 cm). The second part was never delivered. I contacted the courier service and they said they never received the second part. I have been contacting your customer service for a few days now and nothing is happening. my emails, calls, whatsapp messages and online chat messages are ignored. I don't know how to get in touch with SaniWeb, I want my money back!
