Good price easy to buy

Well, I really didn’t know. I really can’t give an honest review because I didn’t have to use it, but it did seem easy to buy in the little research. I did. It seemed pretty good so I mean hard to give a honest review if you don’t use it I just bought it.

Not enough experience to rate

Seven Corners asked me to review my experience with them. I gave it 3* because there was no option for "neutral/insufficient data". I bought travel insurance from them. I didn't have to use it. Therefore I have no idea what my experience with them would have been had I needed it.

Best Ins for Cruiseing

There when I needed it....

Seven Corners was there when I needed it.... I have Parkinsons and I held out to the last minute to cncel my trip. When I did have to cancel the trip, I contacted Seven Corners and they guided me through the process to cancel m trip and I received a full refund of all money spent. I was only expecting about a 75% reimbursement so the additional money I received was certainly an unexpected bonus.
In closing I will always use Seven Corners for my travel insurance needs and will recommend to others that they too, should use it..

Read before you buy.

Purchased this travel insurance thinking it would protect us in case something went wrong. Huge mistake.
We missed our cruise on Wonder of the Seas in Miami entirely due to American Airlines. Our flight was moved from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, then to 2:00 PM, and finally canceled because the aircraft was damaged and unsafe to fly. Completely out of our control.
We immediately called Seven Corners to file a claim and spoke with a representative the same day. At no point were we told that we had to stay 48 hours at the airport in order for the claim to be considered. This requirement was never explained, never emphasized, and frankly makes no sense.
Later, the claim was denied using that exact technicality.
Expecting travelers to remain stranded at an airport for 48 hours just to qualify for coverage is unreasonable and feels intentionally designed to avoid paying claims. This was never clearly disclosed when we asked for guidance.
The insurance cost $83, but the loss was real: two missed flights and a cruise, totaling around $1,400. This situation is exactly why people buy travel insurance, and Seven Corners failed completely when it mattered.
If you are looking for peace of mind, this is not it. Read the fine print carefully, because when things actually go wrong, they will find a way to deny your claim.

This is why you should trust Seven Corners…

I’m not a great admirer or insurance companies, but I sure am a great admirer of Laura Morin! I cancelled my trip at the very last minute -the morning of the day I was supposed to leave, in fact. So I was dreading the call and the everlasting phone tree and on-hold music. But what I got was a smile-in-her-voice and care-in-her heart Laura. It was all the more impressive when I saw she was in Minnesota, a place that deserves smiles these days more than almost anywhere. Bad Claims Experience

I bought travel insurance that was advertised to me as “cancel for any reason at any time and get a full refund” for a child’s high school trip abroad with EF. I had to cancel the trip. They slow rolled the claim review, taking 3.5 months, and then denied the claim.

The reason my child couldn’t take the trip was because their doctor had told them not to take the COVID-19 vaccine for medical reasons specific to them, and at the time of travel proof of vaccination was required in the UK.

Seven Corners says the travel insurance plan didn’t specifically mention COVID-19 vaccines, which probably had something to do with the trip and insurance being booked before COVID-19 existed, and so they claimed that means they can deny my claim.

They based this denial on plan documents, which were never furnished prior to claim denial in the two years since I purchased the plan, only after they denied the claim. I wonder why.

Some might speculate that it would be terribly inconvenient for profits if clients could read the rules and provide a well written claim because it would be much better for profits if the insured were to run afoul of rule details enabling denial of claims when tactically necessary.

Some people might speculate that the real reason for denying my claim is that they had probably lost a lot of money due to paying out claims during COVID, and they decided that keeping my money was in the best interest of the company’s financial health regardless of the stakes of my child’s physical health. That sure would be unfortunate if it were true.

April Welsh Pennell recommendation!

I just wanted to give April Welsh Pennell, a huge 10 stars and best recommendation for how helpful she was, and her knowledge of the services you offer kept me as a customer. Former representatives, I talked to did not explain that you have a field of evacuation, add-on, and told me that they only evacuate from a health outpost which some of the remote places I go there is not a health outpost so I was very grateful to understand that difference. She was also extremely pleasant and friendly to work with. She made just another task on my travel preparation list a very pleasant and effective encounter.

Surprisingly Quick Claims Settlement

While at the Hotel Zilara in Punta Cana my wife suddenly woke with sparp abdominal pain and naausea. An ambulance took us to a local hospital where a CT scan showed an abdominal abscess from diverticulitis. Seven Corners was contacted and they offered a Guaranty of Payment letter which the hospital refused. After two days of antibiotic treatment she was well enough to travel but to get her dischaged the hospital wanted $5744 which I paid with a personal credit card.

After we returned i submitted a claim through the claim portal and to my surprise I was paid within two weeks. Itwas all very seamless and the company was very transparent throughout the process.

For future travel i will insist on Seven Corners travel insurance,
